If the truth be told, I think Attraction should have gone to the RV show anyway, taken out of the comp and the money and another slot at RV given to a Brit.

I am very pleased Attraction were the winners. Not least because s2 voted for them about 10 times tonight.

They were the best by far, imo.

But the rules must allow the contestants to enter from a catchment broader then the UK. And the UK voters have voted for that act. Presumably the phone lines don't let overseas votes count, like people in Ireland couldn't vote for Jedward in the X factor if I recall.

If they're allowed to enter, they're allowed to win. I'd rather them than lots ofthe other acts and its perfect for RVP. I couldn't give a monkeys where they're from tbh, just if they're any good. How about they change the rules and make it over 12s only?

I happen to agree with you on that point, quality.

I happen not to like the act Attraction do - to me it is very mawkish and deliberately tugging at the heartstrings. Maybe I'm odd, but that just makes me feel the opposite. This is irrespective of where they live.

TSS, there was a row about that, but i think RTE did a deal, so that was sorted innit? But i voted for Chico! [grin grin]
