Just caught up with three episodes. On Wednesday's, when Chris and Amber were chatting outside the coffee shop/Lassiters, an extra walked past, who looked suspiciously like Scotty...

OP posts:
SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 27/01/2014 15:06

Ohhhhh my goodness! I certainly wasn't expecting that last revelation!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/01/2014 15:18

Oh! The original Scott Robinson is back again I see!

How can the last one come back? Surely there's nowhere to go with that pair?

alemci · 27/01/2014 15:52

Rebecca looked a bit haggard in trailer.

does anyone else want to shake Amber and tell her being a klingon isn't good.

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 27/01/2014 19:23

I must be getting bad tempered, I could slap Sonya (until my hand broke), and Kate and someone really ought to tell Therese that slash of dark lipstick and that downturned mouth do not go together - and as for the 'business' dresses - words actually fail me.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/01/2014 22:40

I agree with you, Ithought. Sonya ruined Toady's character. I cannot wait for Kate to leave.

Engine003 · 28/01/2014 07:14

Does anyone else find Josh and Amber's relationship extremely boring? They just seem to do the same thing over and over again.

It's just, Josh does something stupid, thinking Amber won't mind. Amber finds out and overreacts. They have a fight and (sometimes) break up. Then, by the next episode, they get back together and forget anything ever happened. That lasts for a few days, until Josh does something again, thinking Amber won't mind............and the cycle continues.

Their relationship just seems so boring and repetitive.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 28/01/2014 12:30

"I must be getting bad tempered, I could slap Sonya (until my hand broke),..."

Pffft - lightweight, Ithought - I could slap her until my hand broke - and then I'd use the other hand!! WinkGrin

KittyMcAllister · 28/01/2014 15:46

Ooh thanks for that trailer! Lots of juicy bits in there. Really liked Rebecca back in the day and Paul has been lacking a love interest. Agree about Josh & Amber's rel but also Brad & Terese - zero chemistry & ill suited to one another, it's just so hard to believe they ever got together. My theory might be that Brad & Terese's older daughter was adopted and it was really Lauren's daughter who she thought had died.

alemci · 28/01/2014 18:37

also sick of Georgia being so precious about Kyle

plus Amber is so boring.

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 29/01/2014 00:05

SDTG

I was saving the other hand for Tracey Barlow in Corrie :)

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 29/01/2014 10:22

An utterly sensible thing to do, Ithought - my apologies for leaping to a conclusion. Might I, in that case, suggest the use of an implement, to protect your hand? A spade, perhaps, or a small trowel. Grin

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 29/01/2014 10:38

I was thinking lump hammer for maximum effect

AnneEyhtMeyer · 29/01/2014 10:59

I was going to offer you my hands as back up, but I think a lump hammer is the way to go.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 29/01/2014 11:14

It sounds very sensible to me.

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 29/01/2014 16:10

I'm glad you both approve, it also solves the problem of having two broken hands Smile.

FiddleDiddleDiddle · 30/01/2014 20:51

So today, when Kyle told Kate that Shiela was home but had...

'Taken herself off to bed with her latest romance novel - she claims she only reads them because they put her to sleep'

  • did anyone else think, EW?!
Asheth · 30/01/2014 21:38

So Georgia is going to hide her pregnancy? You'd think being a nurse she would realise that's a bit tricky. Er, there's this thing called a bump which pregnant women tend to get and it gets bigger and bigger and even Kyle will notice at some point!

Rummikub · 31/01/2014 08:31

Georgia's pregnant??! Did that happen on wed? I missed it. I wondered why they kept giving Georgia a baby to hold whilst Kyle looks on.

KittyMcAllister · 31/01/2014 14:56

I love how reliable contraception has never made it to soap land - they'd be devoid of stories!

skillsandtea · 31/01/2014 18:23

What is it about Sonya? She means well and is kind & helpful but bloody hell she's so annoying!

alemci · 01/02/2014 09:22

Yes she really is. How can she have so much time to meddle with others yet she had a young baby, teenager and own business to run? someone let me into her secretGrin

qazxc · 01/02/2014 09:42

Therese, seriously put them away love, those dresses make you look like the wrong kind of "professional" that might conduct their business in a hotel.
Would Kyle even notice a baby bump? He's not exactly the sharpest toll in the box is he?
Has Sonya even been to the nursery since her workforce of school kids seem to have abandoned ship? As for weapons to preserves our dainty hands, may i suggest pool ball in a sock. Smile

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 02/02/2014 20:20

Pool ball in a sock is good, you can get a good swing without the weight of the lump hammer. Easier to fit in the handbag as well

qazxc · 03/02/2014 16:23

First Kate now Sonya seems to be irresistible to men in Ramsay Street. Is there acid/LSD in the water or have all men had a lobotomy on arrival?

SnowAway · 04/02/2014 09:42

I quite like Sonya...

She is annoying but she's quite real - not overly pretty, wears weird things, bit of a pain, has a past etc. Much better than a lot of the shiny, perfect types that hang around Ramsay Street.
