TV adaptation of 'Started Early Took My Dog' starts next Sunday. Hooray!

I know he's hot but it doesn't make me want to see it ever again. They've all been confusing. I was querying myself last time and I've read all the books. I thought I hadn't read them properly or something. It's been terrible and I'm do annoyed I encouraged my friends to watch it.

very confused by tonight's episode...

Did he kill the guy in the bar? Is he hiding the truth to save the girl who did it?
if he did, is that why he has gone cold on his date- to save from what may happen? Why else would he say it wouldn't work after all the build up?

And- is it his baby?????

p.s do we think he smokes in RL and really has tattoos? Having seen him interviewing Kate Atkinson, I doubt it...

That was really disappointing. I enjoyed the 1st series but this one has got worse every week. Last night was rubbish, like they had 8 storylines on the go and tossed coins to do "mix & match".
