Eyes down for a full house on Monday.

Hopefully we can combine both threads.

In advance, why don't we each post ONE theory, then we can all gloat afterwards about how clever we are Grin

Iasked this a few days back but no one replied.
Please please someone answer otherwise I have a hole in my knowledge for the final!!!

Who is ollie, is he the young journalist? I thought his mum was the newspaper owner. Was it her that turned up at ellies saying she had info? If not then is the newspaper lady related to anyone and does journo just work for her?
Btw just realised newspaper owner lady is one of the characters that we have not learned any secrets about...

Jossysgiants · 22/04/2013 19:55

Ollie is the journalist. His mum isn't the newspaper owner- she has only been in it once . I think she is called Lucy.

LittleAbruzzenBear · 22/04/2013 19:56

Ollie is the young journalist, his Mum, Lucy, is Ellie's sister. Lucy has some info she hasn't shared yet.....

LittleAbruzzenBear · 22/04/2013 19:57

X post!

hollyisalovelyname · 22/04/2013 19:58

I hope it won't be like that other detective series Mayday. Really obvious who the murderer was. Crappy ending. I think it's the same production company

Flibbertyjibbet · 22/04/2013 19:59

Thanks for the speedy replies I was worried id have to wait another hour and watch it on itv plus one leaving no time for mumsnet thread catchup before bedtime :-)

ItsOkayItsJustMyBreath · 22/04/2013 19:59

Where are MadBusLady, SarahFuck and ErrorError?

I am so restless, got the university challenge semi to keep me occupied for half an hour but keep going out for a cigarette pacing Grin

Flibbertyjibbet · 22/04/2013 20:01

I have not been this excited about a tv show since the original Cracker and Prime Suspect.
I have ribena and crisps ready and the woodburner is on near my tv sofa.

LittleAbruzzenBear · 22/04/2013 20:04

I love how we're planning snacks! It is exciting though.

DuelingFanjo · 22/04/2013 20:06

Just posting to say I think it'll be Mark.
I don't want to miss the action so will post during the breaks.

MikeLitoris · 22/04/2013 20:07

I'm signing in.

Got my chocs ready.

Ds is watching with me. He loves it.

No theory but I will throw the remote at the tv if its Joe or Tom Miller.

MikeLitoris · 22/04/2013 20:08

Oh yes I wont be posting until the ads
Dont want to miss anything.

BaconAndAvocado · 22/04/2013 20:10

Good telly is all about the snacks!!

Got my enormous cup of tea and yoghurt duo ready and waiting!! (God, this diet's rubbish)

I also think its Ellie's husband and son at the bottom of it.....

Finbar · 22/04/2013 20:12

Delurking to add my bit tha MAY BE SIGNIFCANT....

the theme song played the end is called "So Close"

(taps nose !)

magentastardust · 22/04/2013 20:14

Maybe we have to watch until the very end of the credits as there is going to be a hilarious blooper section?

LittleAbruzzenBear · 22/04/2013 20:15

God this is ridiculous, I felt like this when I went into labour last Summer.....

MrsSalvoMontalbano · 22/04/2013 20:16

DH has gone to Tesco for snacks for me, as I am busy sorting kids so as to be done by 8.59pm he is bemused by all this, but humouring me (he does not watch it, too late now to catch up)

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/04/2013 20:16

A 2nd series???

9.10pm and we will finally know

As I said either JO or the vicar

I won't be watching till about 40mins later as working - so will ignore this thread till see ending

And no doubt read 400+ comments :)

racingheart · 22/04/2013 20:22

DH says it's the psychic.
I say it's Ollie the reporter.

abuhamzamouse · 22/04/2013 20:29

I am so excited -got my wine ready. Usually watch it next day as Dh doesn't watch it, but he is banished upstairs so I can watch it live. I don't want any spoilers! Roll on 9.

abuhamzamouse · 22/04/2013 20:30

Oh I think it's Oliie or Eliies hubbie,

LittleAbruzzenBear · 22/04/2013 20:30

The psychic seemed genuine to me (bad judge of character).

Ollie hasn't had a secret revealed, but what motive would he have....although he may know more about why Danny was murdered, however, he is desperate to be a 'real' reporter so if he knew something, then he would use it to get a big story wouldn't he. (I think)

I am still leaning with the posters who first came up with the theories re Joe and the Vicar having a relationship.....or along with Nigel are part of a child abuse ring (and if that's the case possibly Ollie was abused too).

teejwood · 22/04/2013 20:30

A second series to cover the court case - god, that would be an even tougher watch than this has been. The murderer(s)' motives and background unearthed, Danny's family's faultlines exposed, the defence brief trying to get the murderer off and shift the blame onto someone else
It's a good idea, though.

teejwood · 22/04/2013 20:31

30 mins to go...

montage · 22/04/2013 20:32

Oh God if they kill off David Tennant after the end credits....

It will probably be a hammer blow to change everything we now think we understand. Maybe an actual flashback
