I know everyone saying how fab OC was -and she was, but the relationship between her and Alec was what made it really good.
Can't imagine what the next series will be -presumably following Ellie on a new case somewhere else?

After all that drama and build up to be let down. The extra scene was nowt either. Pah!

Maybe the psychic really was psychic? Do we have do have the absolute answers to everything? I quite like a few hanging ones

Extra scene was at the wake - olliw telling editor he'd turned down a job at the herald and DT talking to journalist lady about why he didn't tell all about the other murders. Nothing much.

The texts on the phone from 'mum',thought we would find out more about them

How didn't they notice Danny sneaking off to meet Joe? I appreciate his parents were meant to be preoccupied but still...
If Joe is meant to be 'normal' and that he killed Danny by accident, how could he have kept up the pretence in front of his wife and while having a meal with Dannys parents?
I liked the series but I was expecting a twist at the end

I think I enjoyed the anticipation beforehand on here more than the final episode itself! A bit thin and flimsy when it came down to it. Great series though.

I agree the sleeping tablets is a VERY handy dramatic device. That she never mentioned before and nobody in the police team appeared to think for a minute that it could be the family's good friend.

Well at least DT didnt die. and at least there will be a second series. Really hope DT and OC will be in it. Am suprised it was Joe as seemed way too obvious and assumed thered be a twist right till the secret scene . Awesome acting though, Mark made me cry. Feel bad for being suspicous of soco Brian too, he was nice there. Oh well, second series had better be out soon.

But presumably ending up with loose ends, not everything explained, not every t crossed or i dotted - well, that's like real life, isn't it?

I like it when you are kept guessing about a few things like the postman, the psychic etc. That's fine by me.

I have a feeling the next series will be the court case but I think they should leave it as it is and move on to another case.

I guessed it was Joe weeks ago but I'm not disappointed at the ending. It would have been disappointing if it had turned out to be some random in the last 5 minutes.

Exactly Jux. I quite liked the ending, it was a bit like real life, just us humans screwing up and not having everything tidily wrapped up

Why one earth would she need sleeping pills she had just returned from a holiday in Florida and has a young baby most people would be out like a light at the sight of a bed.

Ah little airs, some of us suffer awfully with jet lag. So tired sleep is impossible so the quickest way to sort it it is 2 nights worth of sleeping pills (have my GP well trained on this one)!
