OP posts:
fireflyfairy2 · 10/05/2006 15:28

Natasha's mum told her husband that she thought once they had Natasha's sleep problem sorted out they should go for marriage counselling!

Tatties · 11/05/2006 16:00

What I want to know is why are all (bar one) of the 'tiny tearaways' on the opening credits boys?!

jenk1 · 12/05/2006 08:41

Does anyone else think that Sarah, doesnt want to be with her partner? [cant remember his name)

She can hardly bring herself to look at him.

wessexgirl · 12/05/2006 12:59

Yes, jenk, when he said that Sarah "completes" him (cheesy but sweet) she didn't even look at him, let alone react. I thought "Ouch!" Like telling somebody you love them and getting "Oh right..thanks..." in response.

mysonsmummy · 12/05/2006 21:06

just watched house of ... and there is a child with selective mutism coming in to the house on sunday.

misdee · 12/05/2006 21:08

jaspersslave · 12/05/2006 21:15

its the little boy that went home this week with chicken pox that is in next weeks prog. im really intrested to know how dr t is gonna treat him.

misdee · 12/05/2006 21:17

i'd refuse all my dinner and fruit/veg if i knew i;d getpopcorn instead.

QE · 12/05/2006 21:32

Sarah wants out of her realtionship; she never looks at her husband when they speak nor does she let him confort her. Feel sorry for the bloke though as he is trying so hard to do the right thing and clearly dotes on her and the kids.

Natasha's parents will probably stay together but HE does not want another baby. If they do have one I reckon it would be the beginning of the end for them.

Didn't see much of the mixed race boy Kai to get a good idea about him; think from what I did see his mum panders to him way too much to keep the peace.

Looking forward to the mute boy who was sent home as ds3 is the same.

jenk1 · 12/05/2006 22:16

yep agree about Sarah, she will break up with Paul as she cant handle him being close to Kai, feel sad for Paul as he has really tried.

biglips · 12/05/2006 22:21

i noticed that everytime Sarahs hubby gave her a kiss or cuddle - she walk away quickly - like she couldnt wait to get away from him

jalopy · 13/05/2006 09:57

I found Sarah to be very irritating. I think Tanya tried to put a positive spin on their relationship but quite clearly it was doomed. He made an effort to change but she was completely thrown by the shift of power within the family. I don't think she had any intention of changing her ways and was shocked to find that she was pretty much responsible for their problems. She came across as a self-centred, self-obsessed, control freak. It's difficult to imagine that things would improve once they returned home.
Sermon over. Grin

I think that Natasha's mum and Sarah were both angry that they'd been banging on at their husbands for years to get more involved, they do nothing until the cameras are on them and then are praised to the hilt for being fantastic fathers. They all had complex relationships but I did feel a tad angry on the above mums behalf. I felt they both needed the dh to acknowledge all the work the mothers had put in during the husbands 'missing' years.

beansprout · 14/05/2006 21:00

The little boy with selective mutism is back for anyone who is interested.

wannaBe1974 · 14/05/2006 21:42

2shoes · 14/05/2006 21:45

I am going to be watching this with great interest to see where I went wrong. ds is 14 and still fussY(good eater compared to those 2 though)

jenk1 · 16/05/2006 21:13

Can someone update me, i missed tonights episode.
Thanks Smile

compo · 16/05/2006 21:16

Charlie (the little boy with selective mutism) went to a farm with his family and talked a lot, then came back to the house and didn't talk again
The other 2 children with eating problems continued to crya nd carry on as attempts were made to get them to 'kiss' pieces of chips and then swallow them. Not much progress made imo
The parents of Matthew who got pregnant after only knowing each other for 4 months struggled to get on with each other. It seems pretty clear to me that she finds him very irritating and if it weren't for the kids would probably have left him by now.
The parents of Emily and Rosie (I think that's there names) seemed lots happier and together as a couple

cod · 16/05/2006 21:29

I felt sorry for that poor bloke too.

cod · 16/05/2006 21:33

he was trying hard wasnt he
htink they are destined for divorce

WHY do people have antoher kdi?

FrayedKnot · 16/05/2006 21:35

Think they should rename it as House of Adults with Serious Realtionship Issues (with kids).

I am strangely addicted this series though.

I feel sorry for Matthew.

And please can someone explain to me, why on earth did a couple who don;t get on and have one child with behavioural problems, have another kid?

Or should it be House of Contraceptive Advice...

blueteddy · 16/05/2006 21:35

I was quite suprised they had another baby so soon, after when she was moaning that they had only known each other for 4 months before having Matthew.
He seemed to take it really well & was trying really hard to make her happy. Definitely destined for divorce I think.

Gillian76 · 16/05/2006 21:37

LOL, Frayedknot!

We are writing an application for DH or I would be watching it!
