OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2013 16:11

ive always thought that about the houses, meant to be a typical 3 bed, 2 double and single room

the slaters when all lived there turned downstairs dining room into bedroom for charlie but then had 4 girls up there, plus little mo husband, and other sister played by elaine someone with mechanic husband who worked with ricky

lauren has her own bedroom, as does her sister, so where does their brother, the child no one sees sleep - not in tanys bedrookm

cookielove · 03/03/2013 18:51

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

Catching up on enders and OMG Masood and the Ayesha kissed WTAF!!!!!!!!

Bakingnovice · 03/03/2013 19:39

Tanya's got a bloody cheek. Buggered off for three weeks god knows where then swans back in and expects them all to be pining for her. She's done it enough times do NO ONE gives a shit anymore. And lose the suede knee high wedges ffs.

So max loves Kirsty but wants Tanya. So Alfie loves roxy but wants Kat. Why are ee doing the same boring story twice? Bore off.

LineRunner · 03/03/2013 19:53

Tanya has to wear suede wedges since we all started taking the piss out of her clippy-cloppy stiletto heels.

The producers have their people reading these threads, I reckon.

Hence Ayesha's departure back to Wor Hoose.

SilveryMoon · 03/03/2013 20:04

I didn't really understand what Tanya's problem was with the Kirsty thing.
Her and Max split up. In fact, she left him didn't she? She shacked up with another bloke (Gregg) and was going to marry him, so what's the problem with Max finding someone else. Ok, he should have told her, it was wrong that he kept it from her, but they both moved on.
Then they get back together, he tells Kirsty to do one, and tries to have an honest talk with Tanya about his feelings were he admitted that he can't just turn them off but he wanted Tanya, she cops are strop and leaves. Again. WTAF?
And Kirsty, coming back the minute she hears Tanya's left to take back Max after he had humiliated her in front of other people telling her he doesn't want her. Wouldn't you feel like second best? Get some self respect you loser. Or am I missing something?

LineRunner · 03/03/2013 20:13

Don't forget the bit about Tanya burying Max alive in the woods.

SilveryMoon · 03/03/2013 20:17

Yes, we were having a break from EE but got back in around that time. Not sure what led to that, but it's definitely one fucked up relationship. Makes the relationship board here look positively normal! Wink

Poor Lola tonight :(

I did think the sw had changed her tune. It's all her fault Lola lost her baby and now she is saying doing a good job

Can't believe phil did all that :( and even worse Sharon no neck just listened and said nothing :(

PaintedBottom · 06/03/2013 00:08

Oh how cute is Lexi Grin

Anyone else disturbed by the scene last night where Sharon slapped Jack then they immediately fell into a passionate (eeuuww) embrace/bed? What message does this give younger viewers? That violence can be sexy?

Imagine if the situation had been reversed (ie. Jack assaults Sharon which leads to sex). Not acceptable, on a family soap opera, or IRL.

Not only that, the lip-locking & bonkers eye-rolling from Sharon made me feel positively queasy.

happydaffodil · 06/03/2013 18:59

yes i found the sharon/jack sex scene nausiating aswell and the panting afterwards. i dont remember jacks character being such a patriachal control freak either "you need a man to take care of you"? blondes i dont understand either why trish is now being nice? lola has an apprentiship so she should get the baby back seems to be the theme now, the fact that the baby was taken for no reason seems to have been written out, must be because of all the complaints from social workers to bbc

Bakingnovice · 06/03/2013 22:38

I'm a bit behind but me and Dh were rolling on the floor laughing at the episode where Phil climbs out of the grave zombi like and falls into the pub! Terrible script, terrible acting and terribly funny!!

I don't get the jack and Sharon thing at all. I don't get why jack is considered fit. He looks like Frankenstein and can't act. Him and Sharon met three months ago but they're acting like they've been in a long term relationship. And I'm sorry but I was a 4 0 plus, broad backed, no necked, ringlet clad woman with a few dead exes, a kid and a few failed marriages I'd be trying harder to make my relationship work. Shazza don't give a shit really.

VonHerrBurton · 07/03/2013 00:06

Where the hell is Denny all the time? Through all the arguments, door slamming, liasons in R and R, vomit-enducing sexy scenes... He's never there! Mist kids would be under your feet in a small flat. Maybe he's playing quietly with Oscar in his room. :/

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/03/2013 00:15

Pmsl baking at description of Sharon

And Dennis is prob in that place unknown where all the kids go

Then again half the time he's about as 'ill'and doesn't need to go to school but jack looks after him - if kids feel too ill to go to school then they go to Bed

Least Sharon stuck up for Lexi - tho a tad too late :(

rufussmum · 07/03/2013 07:43

Lexi seems to live strapped into her buggy, parked in Phil's house, in the freezing lock-up - where the hell are the social workers? Phil is a monster and Shaton (meant to type Sharon but real Freudian slip there) is facilitating his child-abusive, psychotic behaviour. She is really thick, and not just her neck.
Lola has shown that she is impulsive, irresponsible and has a violent temper, not helping her cause is she?
I think the Lola/Lexi storyline is disturbing, she is being emotionally tortured - why are so many women on EE treated so badly? Remember the Ronnie/baby stealing plot? Are all the scriptwriters sadistic/misogynistic.

Bakingnovice · 07/03/2013 08:44

I agree rufus. Shaton is phils facilitator. Really hate the Lola storyline. It's beyond grim. EE used to have good strong matriarchs but these days it portrays virtually every woman as weak and every mother as a terrible: roxy, ronnie, Sharon, Tanya. Kim's quite strong and funny but even she was a whimpering wreck when ray dumped her.

VonHerrBurton · 07/03/2013 11:54

This has been touched on before in other threads, but 99% of the women on EE are dolled up to death - every day, even relaxing in their own houses. Sharon, Roxy, Tarrrrnya, Cora, Kirsty, Kat.... face full of slap, high heels and hair coiffed. To go, err, nowhere? Tarrrrn never actually does any work in the salon, just breezes in, cancels 'all her appointments' leaving Poppy (wtf?) in charge. What does she do? Where does she go in her power suits, silk ruffled blouses and high heels?

The biggest mystery is why the hell are we all watching this crap?

Tranya is a joke. Why can't she just use her annual leave if she wants time with her kids? Too many walkouts. Then shf wonders why no one gives a shit when she waltzes back in wearing ringlet extensions, fakey lashes and a pencil skirt. She never works, never mothers anyone, oh but she does seem to do a lot of three course farmalee lunches.

NotQuitePerfect · 08/03/2013 09:04

Back on Shazza/Jack (sorry, I just have to get this out of my system!) - he told her he just wanted them to be a normal family ("you, me, Denny").

No mention of his own 3 children by 3 mothers (Penny, Amy, Richard)!

He had children with 2 sisters (Ronnie & Roxy) and then with their cousin (Sam). His other daughter by previous is in a wheelchair because Jack 'upset' some villains.

He also shacked up with his sis-in-law (Tanya) for a while.

Someone remind me why he is considered a catch?? Confused

suekat · 08/03/2013 16:40
