Different senior midwife I think ImKate - it was the midwife from southampton (brunette hair in a bun) who retired. Grey haired midwife is from Leeds. But they do share a bit of a 'look'!

I'm sure that midwife retired too - it was the last episode of the last series, wasn't it? Maybe she's doing bank shifts!

She did retire - they did her an amazing buffet!!

DH came in and talked to me all the way through that birth, the git. What I did see of it looked lovely though.

Don't know how she stayed standing afterwards.
