Figgy wasn't Hush season 4?

Loved James Marsters in Torchwood....

Spike is fabulous though. I'd love to ask JM how much say he had over the costume because it was so "Billy Idol". I wonder how strong the show would have been without Spike too...he is one of the best.

I loved Season 5...such a sad ending. I thought the Ben/Glory idea was really good.

Just getting into Season 6 where I predict lots of issues for Willow over her use of magic....not seen beyond Season 5 before (and only got halfway through it until now).

Looking forward to seeing the "Once More With Feeling" episode which people are raving about.

Whilst the main arc story of the initiative etc in season four was a bit of a let down, I think it has some really good stand alone eps in that season. Hush is obviously the stand out but I also loved New man when Giles turns into a demon as well. The bit when he jumps out of the car and chases after Maggie Walsh aways makes me laugh.

Am currently singing "Walk through the fire" to the disapproval of the DCs! Love Joss' female characters but also the simmering sexual tension between Buffy and Spike.

I love Buffy, it tops all of the vampire series'. My favourite seasons are 3 and 6, love Faith and evil Willow.

Three was always my favourite season. I think that's when it was at its peak. I loved two with Spike and Dru too though. God I love Buffy. Honestly it ruined me for other tv shows though. Nothing has ever matched it for me.

Season 4 contains one of my favourite scenes - after Spike's escape from the Initiative and he goes to kill Buffy. He finds Willow instead and has, ahem, "trouble performing" Wink. One of the funniest scenes ever Grin Plus there's a moment, before he pounces on her, where he gives her a look that makes my uterus backflip Wink

The sex that Buffy & Spike have in 6 turns me on way better than any porn or erotic literature.

I dislike series 4, I re-watched it again recently and still found it dull. Riley bores me rigid. Series 2,5,6 and 7 are brilliant.

To the person who stopped watching when Dawn appears at the start of series 5 - please give it another go. All is explained over the course of the series.

I hated Riley so much I spend much of his time on screen yelling 'Oh just FK off you potato nosed teed!'

For classy very funny Buffy & Spike FILTH try nautibitz.com- the woman is hilarious.

Once Season 5 got underway it appeared that Riley's only function was to take his top off every couple of episodes....he had to go.

Just got to Spike and Buffy's first few kisses and the parting of Willow and Tara.

Oh Spike is so sexy...I definitely would Wink.

Loved "Once More With Feeling" and the very suave demon guy.

I think the way they developed the Spike/Buffy relationship was brilliant. It gave the viewer a privileged insight into his character and motivations that the other characters were denied, and put the viewer on his side, even though the other characters were against him. Basically they MADE me fall for him very cleverly. It was a long term process too. I think the story arc of season six worked so, so well. All the plot lines woven together in a coherent and brilliant episode.

Haven't seen Buffy for years....used to love it though and leave the office early as it was on at 6pm on a Thursday I seem to recall. Must look it up again..!

Excellent Buffy trivia on IMDB

Wintera YY! Entirely agree, nothing has ever matched up to Buffy, including JW's subsequent work. My DD is 10 [whispers] but don't tell the rest of MN or I'll get in trouble! I didn't actually realise it was rated 15, she covers her eyes for the kissing and is fine with the rest Grin

I'm a total wuss but never found Buffy that scary. There are a few episodes that made me jump - Puppet Show was a bit freaky first time round and certainly some if the later episodes had their moments, but as a whole I give it the wuss seal of approval Grin

Ahhh, that song is in my head now! Thanks Doctrine.

Giles is on your train, Lady?! Gosh! he was cool as Ripper in 'Band Candy'.

Couldn't stand Riley. Bloody goody two shoes trying to tell Buffy how to slay... Hated his overbearing military approach to everything. Totally took the fun out of everything. Dawn was pretty annoying too though but Glory saved that series.

Gnarl was terrifying..."all alone..." and then he'd scuttle about doing that pinchy thing with his claws...shudder!

The only episode that really scared me was Hush. I still think that's proper scary that ep! My hubby and I usually have a tradition on Halloween were we watch all of the Buffy Halloween episodes. There's one in season two, four and six I think it is. Sometimes we watch Hush as well or instead of. Hopefully we will manage to do it on Wednesday.

Yeah, Hush was good but having seen the movie 'Dark City' those 'gentlemen' characters seemed familiar to me so not so scary IYSWIM. I'd love to watch Buffy with DH but he just wouldn't. He does watch Trueblood though, not the same I know but still vamps!
Speaking of which, are there any Buffy fans that like Twilight? Personally i think Edward would have been dust if he'd so much as Emo-eyed her! He was a bit of a stalker with Bella, wasn't he.

Harmony was brilliant. So funny.

I don't think you can like Buffy and Twilight, they are opposed in so many ways. Vampires don't sparkle for a start!

You a tube video sums it up perfectly in my opinion Wink

God, I would do Angel and Spike at the same time until I died from exhaustion.

Spike's is my favorite song in Once More With Feeling...I still sing it all the time!

That video link was fabulous. Buffy so bored with Edward Cullens moody emo vamp attitude.

The links from the video were good too....Edward Cullen described as a "glittery girl attraction, a sort of My Litttle Pony with fangs"
