I saw Corrie for the first time in years last night.

Couldn't believe she is actually meant to be 35 years old!! It's all really silly and boring. And I wish they'd get rid of Stella's mum. She's hopeless. One of the most unfunny characters ever. Not for the want of trying though.

Worse than Tracey is Lloyd's baby momma. When she says her lines I feel like I'm reading the script. Awful acting. Every time she says she's going back to Nottingham I say "off you go, byeeeee". Please don't let her be a permanent fixture.

Yes, Lloyd really only exists in the context of the female characters he has relationships with. And this new one has yet to take.

That said, I still don't think Stella is at all right for at the Rovers either, and adding her mother hasn't improved it.

I thought Stephanie Cole was really good as Roy's Mum. I liked the run-ins she had with Norris. They were daft but quite funny. Mary is daft but amusing with it.. Sue Johnstone's character is just really silly and unfunny. Total garbage.

Also - have the writers forgotten the whole storyline about Ryan not really being Michelle's son because he was swapped at birth? Given the way they were talking in the pub last night "You had me when you were 15" (Ryan to Michelle) & a bit later "How would you if someone had told you to get rid of me?".

I think they're deliberately trying to pretend it never happened. Ridiculous .

Michelle's birth son was called Alex I think. She took him for pizza a few times and he was never heard of again.

I guess the storyline ran out of steam after about six weeks!
