Amused me the way she kept saying 'my meatza' this and 'my meatza' that. Kept expecting her to say 'my meatza brings all the boys to the yard' . . . . .

This review from The Independent made me laugh, the bit about the bubbles.

She has just produced a Chicken from the fridge wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. What sainbos does she visit?!

she carves like me, more of a hacking.

I like the look of the smoked mackerel dish.

Have just turned it on. She looks good doesn't she.

Not sure about the ice cream in a bun

I thought meatza was a joke..?

But then I saw the ice cream burger

Did she cook the pepper in the chicken (didn't pay attention properly). Food is better this week - until the ice cream bun that is.

Chicken sat on to of the pepper.

I'm coveting those stainless steel cups she used to measure out tablespoons in the icecream recipe. Can't see them online anywhere tho just American cups measurements.

So chicken on top of pepper - I'm going to try that one. Thanks folks.

Love her lipstick. Adore nigella full stop but yes her recipes are increasingly unappetising

Littlebairn All peppers are torture for me I'm a demi veg. and every restaurant thinks that we only eat peppers aaaaagh! I hate the effing things!!!

There is no way (i've just watched the last bit of her prog. tonight) that she can eat choc. cake, ice cream in a bun and keep off the 3 stone that she certainly has lost before making this prog. I noticed that she mentioned her kids liked carbs so she's been off the carbs deffo.

I also saw her interviewed on the One Show this evening she either has a very good botox surgeon or incredibly thick amazing quality make up. How does she look like that????

I was looking at the pearl barley risotto thinking I'd quite like to try making that, when dh said "that doesn't look like something I'd want to eat"

I suggested a bit later that he might like to make some Celestial Loveliness.

Oh I feel your pain I was a veggie (mostly vegan) up until recently and usually most things on the veggie menu are either slathered in cheese or cover in tomato sauce. Thank the veggie god for Indian restaurants.
I was thinking about her waist line too their is no way I could eat that type of food every day I would be massive!

Her recipes are a bit OTT and - well - gross for my liking......coffee ice cream, mmmm, but in a whacking great bun? No. And she always seems to have a chocolate cake on the go. Her food is just too rich, gloopy, creamy, whacked-together-and-stuffed-in-the-gob for my liking. But many might feel those qualities are positives!

i actually made the meatzza last night - t'was delicious!

DH is thanking the God of Ice Cream for coming up with the idea of slapping it into brioche. He can't think of a better use for brioche.

I want her kitchen although the oven is a bit high for my liking.

stuffed-in-the-gob is definitely how I like my food! :o
