I know a few travellers, they are no way like those people depicted on that stupid program. It is a big pile of wank.

I don't know but I saw something on here that had a link to a letter someone had sent to channel 4 after they did the gypsy wedding shows saying that she wasn't even known as well as she made out and travellers weren't ss they made out.

I know that most of what is written in that article is true. I have shopped at Great Homer Street market since the 80's and can remember her. I remember when she moved into shops, rather than selling at markets.

The show is now keen to point out that they are covering Irish Traveller comunities, which we have strong links with in Liverpool, not Romany Gypsies.

Just watching it now, Thelma's face looks awful, and I can't help feel she's exposing herself her business and her home alot here making herself a bit vulnerable!!
