Here we are, a new home for the second week. Smile

Rafa will be sorely missed. Sad

Rooting for Roger.

Could there/will there be more upsets ? If last week is anything to go by, is this years Wimby anyone's for the taking ?

AnyOtter Grin. Like this bit: ?Hopefully I?ll get wrapped up in the net, flapping about like a big, sulky dolphin

RaahhIsaBitofaJinx · 06/07/2012 16:30

See, Glaikit- my eyes were really not focussed on his chest area...

NoComet · 06/07/2012 16:30

Raced in to school grabbed DD2 still missed match point on the radio.
However, GrinGrinGrin

London's got sunEnvy

Absolutely pouring here, just rang DH to tell him to come home the long-way as his usual route is flooded!

Jellykat · 06/07/2012 16:32

I'm watching, budge over ladies pleeeease..

Kylies' sunglasses are bigger then her, is she hiding more surgery?

Woah there Glaikit that's niiice!! (even tho' i'm in the Murray camp)

RaahhIsaBitofaJinx · 06/07/2012 16:34

This weather is a joke. School was flooded in the Foundation stage classrooms, and part of the hall.

I wonder if Murray is wearinghis shallow pocket, bollock dropping shorts? We need some help on the Tsonga bench...

Sparklingbrook · 06/07/2012 16:35

It's chucking it down here, has been all day. Floods everywhere.

Jellykat · 06/07/2012 16:37

Same here in Pembs

RaahhIsaBitofaJinx · 06/07/2012 16:38

it's only one set...Allez Tsonga

LetUsPrey · 06/07/2012 16:38

What's causing the shadow on the inside of Tsonga's left thigh in that photo?

Jellykat · 06/07/2012 16:39

Murrays balls don't appear to be dropping Raah, sorry Grin

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 06/07/2012 16:39

Go Murray!

He is playing some really good shots, and Tsonga seems off song somehow. Which is a shame, I like him and not just for his scrummy bod

HenriettaChicken · 06/07/2012 16:40

Mac on Jo-Willy: 'he just looks so tight.'

Me: 'Mmm-hmmmm! Oh...not what he meant?' Blush

RaahhIsaBitofaJinx · 06/07/2012 16:42

I want this match to go the distance. Realistically, i know it is really Murray's matchSad. But at least if it goes to 5, he might be tired on SundayGrin

uselesslife · 06/07/2012 16:43

ok, the big black cloud has missed my house, it might miss centre court

ooh, there's Leconte

MrsVamos · 06/07/2012 16:43

Allez Tsonga !

The Bear will stage a big fightback, I am sure we will have a 4 setter if not a five.

Can't believe they opened the roof, is there nothing on BBC1 tonight ? Have they done it so they can fiddle with the viewing figures for this evening ? Roof open, rain threat, rain comes, close roof, everyone gets to watch when they get in from work ? Grin

OP posts:
RaahhIsaBitofaJinx · 06/07/2012 16:45

MrsV- good point about the viewing figures- Andy was obviously put on second, to be the 'big' evening match- only Fed trounced Djoko too quickly and spoiled it. So, yep- if tsonga can keep up, there may be at least one rain delay.

LadyBeagleEyes · 06/07/2012 16:45

I'd like to see a long match too.
I hope Tsonga gets a bit more confidence.

RaahhIsaBitofaJinx · 06/07/2012 16:46

This could be over by 6Sad

Allez Tsonga

JackieandJudy · 06/07/2012 16:46

Tis his handle Letus Grin

RaahhIsaBitofaJinx · 06/07/2012 16:47

Vamos Rafa

RaahhIsaBitofaJinx · 06/07/2012 16:48

I don't want anyone to lose because the other player is injured. That's always a bit crap.

MrsVamos · 06/07/2012 16:50

Don't forget last Friday we all watched Andy till 11pm didn't we ? Wink

There is a threat of rain later on, unless they expect Andy to win it in 3 sets ?

I like to see long matches at this stage, because I think they should be 'long' matches, ie, 4 or 5 setters. I know when we have our favourites that we like them to win quickly and in 3 sets, but I do love a long, slug-it-out match.

I agree, LBE, Tsonga could do with a shot of confidence. A couple of good game wins should be enough, it would help if the crowd perked up a bit too. Surely they're not all there for Andy ?

OP posts:
MrsVamos · 06/07/2012 16:51

If you're doing it, how can I not, Raahh ?

VAMOS RAFA

S'not the same, is it ? Sad

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 06/07/2012 16:51

I smirked a bit when McEnroe said that Tsonga has "good hands"Grin

CremeEggThief · 06/07/2012 16:53

Soooooo thrilled for my idol, the mighty Roger Federer. :o

Ever since he came through his tough match against Julien Benneteau, I had a feeling it would be his year. I remembered how wobbly he was against his opponents after Rafa lost early in the French Open in 2009 and look what happened there...

Having said all that, I wouldn't be devastated if he lost to Andy Murray in the final in the Jubilee year, but I can't see either Murray or Tsonga beating him in the final. I think it will be Murray though. Sorry, Tsonga!

Similarly, I can't see Agnieszka Radwanska winning tomorrow.
