I take it we are all sitting comfortably, and have the strawberries, cream and champagne at the ready ?

LetUsPrey · 29/06/2012 21:16

That's more like it Roger! Now show us that rather beautiful forehand. Gwan you know you want to!

RaahhfaNadalsmyToyboy · 29/06/2012 21:16

oh.merde.

Benny- you disappointed me.

MrsHelsBels74 · 29/06/2012 21:17

Is that fat lady warming up?

RaahhfaNadalsmyToyboy · 29/06/2012 21:18

is he crying?Sad

LetUsPrey · 29/06/2012 21:18

YEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

sayanythingrogerjustrogerme · 29/06/2012 21:19

Phew. That was a bit too exciting this early in the tournament. But well done Fed in the end.

RaahhfaNadalsmyToyboy · 29/06/2012 21:19

poor BennySad

LetUsPrey · 29/06/2012 21:20

Right. He's got Malisse next. Get your act together in time for that won't you Roger?

And yes, I will now admit because Roger won that Benneteau played some rather marvellous tennis.

RaahhfaNadalsmyToyboy · 29/06/2012 21:23

Grin he did. I like Benny.

NoComet · 29/06/2012 21:24

Pity Ben didn't keep up the fight, but Federer is supremely fit and icy cool.

Kipling's "If" could have been placed in the centre court hall just for him.

sayanythingrogerjustrogerme · 29/06/2012 21:25

Mirka looked thunderous - I bet she's about to give Fed a piece of her mind for pussyfooting around for two sets and scaring her like that Grin.

NoComet · 29/06/2012 21:27

Mirka did look annoyed, was it Dad's turn to put the twins to bed?

noddyholder · 29/06/2012 21:31

Never in doubt (gulp)

MrsVamos · 29/06/2012 21:52

That is a relief.

Don't think my little heart can take much more of this. Phew.

LadyC

The old guy who sits in the players box is an Honorary Steward. He is called David Spearing, and has been doing it for 39 years. He is the longest serving H. Steward.

There was a feature about him on the BBC the other day. He's got one of the best seats in the place, lucky him !

In ref. to Mirka.

I have never been able to work out why she always has a face like a slapped arse. I think if I woke up next to Roger every day, it would make me smile a little bit when all the ladies scream and whoop for my man. Grin

Perhaps he forgot to buy the milk on the way to Wimbers this morning and she's going to have to go to the 24 hour garage on the way home and it'll cost a fortune

So tomorrow we have Roddick/Ferrer second on Centre, after Serena. Murray is third on Centre.

Kvitova, del Potro and then Tsonga on Court One.

And on Court Three I shall be hoping to see some Goffin -v- Fish - third on.

Weather forecast is apparently sunny for London, unlike where I am where it is going to be piddling it down for most of the day.

epic week so far

is murray playing tomorrow? what time?

LetUsPrey · 30/06/2012 09:19

Murray is third on Centre. Play starts at 1 with Serena. She'll probably be done by 2.30. Then it's Roddick -v- Ferrer. I think that could be a long one so Murray should start about 5.30/6pm. Possibly.

CremeEggThief · 30/06/2012 09:38

Looking forward to a good afternoon's play and thrilled with Fed's win last night :o.
