Thanks Chipping, is this a format change? Usually the final is a big event that some of the fired contestants are drafted back in to help with. though I don't care, as long as they do the interviews

Skiving - i thought they usually have the last task with a head to head between the final two.

I don't know skiving - all I know is what Tivo tells me Two programmes on this weekend and then where will we be next Wednesday :(

I think it has lost a certain something since they change the winning "prize" to a partnership with siralan rather than a job as his apprentice. I feel that makes for different personalities entering in the first place and I do not believe that al shug has not seen their business plans before the whole thing starts. No way is he going to let himself be left with 4 candidates with crummy ideas that he would have no interest in - he'll want the idea that stands to make him the most money which, I think, is why Tom won it last year (though I don't know if al has been able to buy a yacht yet with the money he's made from wavy nail files.)
I agree too that the interviews from hell are very entertaining .

The interviews are going to be so dull. They should have kept Boggle and that girl who took them on a route march round London Zoo. I'd really have liked to hear Margaret test her claim to have worked for the UN.

Parents are here Chipping. Whilst DH does mind me online and watching tv, I don't think I can really skulk off for 2 hours when they're here!

Sorry I missed this week's chat. My mom, step dad, brother, SIL and nephew were here from the States! I was a bit busy.

I'll be here Sunday, though, as they are all gone now!

Not so keen on Tom any more. Ricky to win. Partly as we will be able to say Ricky Martin won The Apprentice!

Hopefully not Jade. I quite liked Nick but don't think he impressed last round.

I dunno, there is something about Jade that I do like. Maybe it's just because she's the only woman to make it this far.

There is that but I think she thinks she is the bees knees and isn't really. I am not too keen on any of the others. I loved Tom last year he was a worthy winner.

Ive just watched it. I wouldnt of minded having free reign in that goodie shop.

Its so dull this year, isnt it? The prizes are rubbish and, this week the poor sods never got one. Why did he leave them waiting over night before the board room? surely in this day and age they couldve edited it. It gave them a full night to prepare their arguments.

I dont know how they are going to jazz it up next season. Is the US version still on?
