Wasn't on Tuesday's thread. I watched the acts but not the results. I know Jedward and the grannies got through -but not Israel, who were my faves -who else? Did the glow in the dark pole dancers go through?

One of my bitterest, bitterest childhood memories was the year Sandy Shaw won the Eurovision Song Contest and my evil mother wouldn't let me stay up for it. .
I bloody loved Puppet on a String.
She let my big sister (by two years) watch it and sent me and my twin to bed.
I remember bringing it up a few years ago and she apologised.

I've a vague memory of some injustices in the past between the UK and Ireland.
