Do they film the selectiosn for the finals, eg the final 45 after the auditions? I can timagine they woudl make them all travel all that way again, (in costume) months after the auditions to be told NO

I reckon they are herded in and told straight away, and the judges have their outfits especially chosen and wear them after every set of auditions to make it look like its the same day

I'm overthinking this I know, but am fed up with being fooled by editing, telling me its the 'next day' (YES THE VOICE I'M TALKING TO YOU) when its the same day
