Shriek Sing-offs and extra mentors tonight. Such excitement.

From what I understand. each sleb judge puts two members of their own team to sing off against one another.

coming late to this but was out and missed most of tonight's ep - will rewatch on iplayer

i like cerys
and need brain bleach for the awful fleetwood/fox memory mosschops just resurrected in my brain

cocolepew · 22/04/2012 08:44

Stupid DH paused the Grand Prix for half an hour, so I couldn't join in Sad. I will try harder tonight.

I love Will.Do.Me even more, though I think he needs his thyroid checked. He has very poppy eyes and always wears his coat so he must feel the cold. I shall nurse him.

Glad Max went through, I like a man who rocks a hat. Dope.

Lady Delores Of Cranberry was goodish but odd. Why does she sing in an Irish accent?

5Star Den was scary.

I can't remember anyone else. Hopefully will be here tonight.

Sick.

Just watched Saturday night on iPlayer and kept scrolling this thread for the 'real time' effect.

Paloma Faith appears to be batshitcrazy Polly Harvey for the next generation. I reckon will.i.am is secretly playing a drinking game of his own throughout all of this. Wonder how much grief postponed-wedding-boy is now getting given he's presumably pissed off all his guests and fiance and is now back in the obscurity which is Norwich.

Do you think Denise's gloves were the same ones she was wearing 20 years ago in 5Star?

It felt a bit long to me, although am sure it would have gone much quicker in real time with wine and pizza to hand... why are they cramming this into two nights rather than doing it over 4 weeks or at least 2 shorter shows each week for 2 weeks?

chipstick10 · 22/04/2012 12:08

My input. cannot STAND jessie j. Dont rate Jaz at all, murdered a brill Marvin song. No way should max have gone through, just dreadful. Still lovin Will though didnt agree with most of his choices.

Raahh · 22/04/2012 12:29

Acekicker- I love the idea that Bill.U.R is secretly having a drinking game of his ownGrin. Will explain his slightly bemused pissed twinkle in his eye. And I forgot about the bloke who postponed his wedding- i bet his in-laws are seriously miffed (and now think he is a total loser, and are steering their daughter towards a more suitable husbandGrin).

It would have been much more fun, if the other judges had been able to vote off the rival acts. More of a competition.

I have decided it is secretly being sponsored by Shockwaves- a lot of gravity defying hair do's .

I hope tonight is a bit quieterGrin

I was so annoyed with Danny, why did he Pick Bo over the man with the good voice, it was almost like he set the bloke up to make Bo look good.

Raahh · 22/04/2012 12:52

It did seem like a set up, more so than all the other pairings, where they seemed more equally matched. They were very different in style, so it was obvious he preferred Bo. But DavidBrent didn't really do himself any favours when he snubbed Danny after the song. But if he went through the rehearsal process, feeling they were favouring Bo (on the vt they kept telling him to rein in his voice- when all the other pairings were allowed to belt out their songs in shouty fashion), no wonder he was narked.

CunningLingo · 22/04/2012 15:17

I saw rhydian in We Will Rock You at Edinburgh playhouse last year

2shoes · 22/04/2012 15:23

i don't blame him for snubbing him. Danny just said not today....wtf
I really like Danny and wanted him to win.
now I am all for Tom

SaggyHairyArse · 22/04/2012 16:05

I am old enough to be his mother but I so would (Danny), I loves him I do.

FoofyShmooffer · 22/04/2012 16:10

Oh Mosschops I would very much like to see what Danny's hair looks like in the morning. shirtless. and pantless actually.

FoofyShmooffer · 22/04/2012 16:11

difficultpickle · 22/04/2012 17:08

Danny looks as if could do with a good wash, or is that part of his appeal? Confused

Raahh · 22/04/2012 18:48

Well, uniforms done, children bathed- 7pm is too early on a sunday for me to be this organised. But it's no fun watching this, if I can't mn. Especially as I'm not drinkingSad
