I'm so relieved to read all this. I started thinking I was losing my marbles - ALL of them seemed to be telling Jamie to get over it!

I know MIC is scripted etc. but I think the true characters of the cast shine through and you can genuninely tell who is vile on screen/vile in reality.

The thing is is can't all be acted can it? No group of friends could contain that amount of good actors. Millie especially, when she is upset you can really see it and Rosie's face freezes over and is really quite scary when she is pissed off. I don't think that it all can be acted.

I remember when I was into The Hills and read an interview with one of them where she said that it reflected what was going on in real life but they would get them to re-enact certain scenes and add some for dramatic effect.

Anyway I prefer to believe it is about 90% real, it makes me happy .

Forgot to mention how much I loved Francis's chat with Spencer. Firstly, he was on his skateboard. Secondly, he is the only one eloquent/ballsy enough to point out to Spenny what the situation is - "you slept with the girl your best mate is seeing." Thirdly, he made his exit with the immortal words "anyway, gotta run, I'm late for a massage." The man is gold.

Rosie's style blog is worth a read, loads of people asking where did Millie get this or where did Binky get that and Rosie saying "sorry, I don't know"

She lists everything she wears in each episode, just in case you should want to emulate her.

I love Francis, I do find it difficult to imagine him and Hermione out of Harry Potter together though.

But as someone said up thread, she has a remarkable gift for keeping her cool in arguments and is very eloquent. I remember in one of the other seasons when she fell out with Francis and he was wearing some kind of mask and she told him that it looked like he had a cock on his head or something like that and then just sauntered off. It was utterly irrelevant to the argument but shut him up with such efficiency , he had no comeback whatsoever. She pretty much wins every argument she has because of this.
