Its been a while since we had a 'we hate Kate' thread. I wish she would bugger off to Thailand. What is with this new Kate. She's almost as bad as the old mumsy kate although I think her wardrobe is starting to improve.

Also has anyone else notice the characters seem to be a bit thin on the ground?

Glad to see summer grow out that awful fringe though.

Yes, I've mentioned on a previous thread the fact that they have all these 4 and 5 bedroom houses that used to seemingly hold hundreds of people each...now down to 2 or 3 in each house at best!

They do need a cast shake up. Its all getting dull, dull, dull. I've stopped watching as frquently as I did because of it.

I did get a bit excited when I thought Kate was leaving...but sadly, she came back...

Aiden is nice, so would like to see more of him.

They couldn't change the actor who plays Billy because that awful oil painting of the Kennedy children is a constant reminder of them.

I think it's been going down hill since the Timmins went out of it. When they were in they managed to squeeze about 8 people in the house where Jade, Kyle and Rhys live.

they could doctor the painting in the dead of night....

exactly my point, those houses used to be like the tardis in the number of people they could house....

maybe it is a thing in OZ as it is the same in H&A

susan and karl could damage the painting in a tug of war.

I remember when the kennedy children got that painting done for Susan's birthday.

it is awful though.

However, I don't think its a real stumbling block since the portraits never looked much like any of them in the first place!!

It also makes me that the supposedly honest and caring dr Carl always forgets about the little girl he had with izzey who lives in London, I know he's been to visit (about twice) but you'd think someone who takes in all the waifs and strays would be a bit more interested in his own child!

I'm also wondering what the point of Lou is atm, he hasn't had a decent storyline in ages

Lou is a bit lost without someone to bounce off. He needs another Harold.

Lou is now boring, shame as thay could have made more interesting, but as he now lives in the same house as shiney he is doomed.

2shoes I don't think it was ever as big in Australia as it was over here.
We went on the Neighbours Tour in Melbourne last year and there were no Australians on it and the tour guide was Irish. He was brilliant though and very funny, basically taking the mickey out of the show.

What happened to Mal? Did his wife find out about him and Jade? I missed some episodes and he's not been talked about since.

I think Mal agreed with Susan that he should tell his wife about his affair and to see what happened - although we have not been told what happened.

Watched yesterday and Lucas had a totally out of character and very nasty rant at Tash about Emilia and her dad - he called Emilia a tramp and then later beat up Michael for whom 2 whole years!!!! of friendship meant nothing! he once again (yawn) tried to ride his bike whilst drunk.

The rant against Emilia was really horrid and sexist- I was at Neighbours

What's with all this Wiccan stuff? How long have Emilia and Kate been friends? She seemed very concerned about their friendship!
