Yank- those Welsh boys are from the area surrounding where I live, from some of the poorest former mining villages. They are stunning, aren't they.

If you can, try and find a BBC Cymru program called Only Boys Aloud- it follows the formation of the choir.

I went to the Edinburgh auditions. Not much talent

sorry, come late to this. I don't normally watch BGT, but i like the new judges, and I cried 3 times yesterday. The Sugar Dandies were bloody great.

Groovee, I want info on the Edinburgh auditions!

We started with a laser harpist who Simon buzzed then apologised as he got better. Condom pipers who were shown in the highlights of next week. A couple who looked liked they would ballroom dance (I nearly wet myself with excitement) but they had a flee circus. The dogs who went to the dog races. A massive female choir who were ok but their facial expressions were worrying.

They brought out a chair and microphone and I joked to my friend it would be a ukelele... Well I was a third right... Ukelele with a baby grand piano and a kazoooooooo. And proceeded to play the final countdown.

There was a dancer and a singer who got through. 2 men who sang a car boot song. And a man uncle billy who'd failed as a ventriloquist and kept buzzing when a buzzer sounded. And a postie who sang 500 miles. He got thru as he had us all on our feet.

Bloody hell. Sounds like being trapped in the seventh circle of hell!

Was a bit gutted at the lack of acts. There were only around 20 people auditioned between the 2 lots from the whole of Scotland.

Forgot Isla and jean who auditioned last year auditioned again. Poor jean looked like she was heading down the docks afterwards
