Ah that was actually very moving!

She is a very sheltered 9yo. Has somehow never come up in convo.

She just said, "oh, good. And can women love women?"

DD loves when male couples are in love, even more than heterosexual couples.
No idea why, but she does.

God I loved that. I shed a tear.

I have a gay brother and his partner, lovely BIL, so the kids have never seen it as anything other than completely standard. Someone at school asked about it apparently and DS3 was baffled that it was even noteworthy.

It has never come up before, and it would have felt forced to have brought it up out of the blue.

Sorry - that sounded like I was having a bit of a holier than thou moment, and I didn't mean it to.

Anyway - am maybe getting used to the Walliams creepiness. Perhaps.

Just tuned in. Amanda Holden looks a sight. She's like Katherine Jenkins, pretty but has too much filler and Botox and hair like straw. If she toned it all down she would look younger and prettier.

My mum's friend "came out" when she was about 45 year old and was worried about telling her boys. They said, "Well, duuuurrrrr. We have known that for years".

And it is great that the two men not only (a) could dance, and (b) clearly loved each other very much, but that BGT did a nice backstory piece on the longevity of their relationship and the fact that they were married.

I did have a horrible sinking feeling moment when it showed people in the crowd laughing - a bit exploitative. That could have been editing.

Anyway the audience loved them. Ace.

We're watching on sky+ and are a bit behind. Enjoyed Sam very much- nice to listen to.

Love all male voice choirs - they make me well up.
