Is anyone else addicted to Pointless?

I'm horridly addicted to Pointless. I have it on series link and watch it at night whenever DH is away. I desperately want to be on the show, I even applied. Am I a sad git?

I didn't know any. Nightmare category.

I knew 4 of the 5 sport trophies - I'm slightly stupified that I knew that. I blame DH

I know all the eye ones, because I'm a sad anourak biology teacher

I missed the trophies. I was trying to stop Bumble dog verbally abusing the builders over the road!!

I also know all the film ones too. This new round 3 is too easy.

I'm shocked - I won twice today. I said Colin Jackson and Toyah Wilcox. The irony is I've only watched 1 episode of Celebrity Masterchef. They were on with Paul Young and Denise Wotsit the heptathlete.

Ah ha! That's reminded me what my other pointless win was! It was celebs in celebrity apprentice... Despite only watching part of one episode, I remembered that rupert Everett was in it because he stayed for less than one task as he/his agent had got the wrong end of the stick about what it was about

Yes I got that one too - I watched one episode and remembered Rupert flouncing off after about 5 minutes and Trinny Woodall having loads of billionaire mates who she milked shamelessly for horrific amounts of cash. So I'd have won twice that day (except I wouldn't because I'd have never have chosen sleb twaddle as the category).

Good point Dilys - I'd also never choose celebrities, for fear of getting questions on BB or Katie Price. Not my bag.

It would depend what the other categories were! I would definitely pick slebs above sport or politics! Is that a bit shameful?

Politics is easy if you remember that one of the pointless answers is nearly always Ramsey MacDonald or Herbert Hoover.
