I agree. Eric looked slimmer I thought. Bill looked the best he has for ages, his hair was much better last night, usually hate the way they do his hair! Jason looked very good in his cop uniform too.

I miss old Tara does anyone else? She was so great in the first season, but I just can't be doing with her at all these days. Actually wouldn't mind if they killed her off this season! Wouldn't miss her at all!

Sunday night is a rubbish time for it. I'm knackered by 9pm with two young DCs! Loving Eric and Bill. Seems to be quite different from the books already. Can't wait for next week

Before they always showed it first on a Fri then had the repeat on the Sunday. Is it just going to be on the Sunday now? Maybe it's because The walking dead is returning soon too? They both had the same slot so maybe they've had to rearrange things a bit.

Can't believe Fiona Shaw was in it, how random! She was fantastic though, I'm expecting great things from her. I'm guessing she is the 'Hallow' character from the book?

I really liked that they jumped forwards a year, gives them a chance to do something totally fresh with the characters. Eric was looking damn hot as usual, love that man!

I thought it was a great first episode. Love it that the crappy fairy world turned out to be a facade rather than an actual attempt to create a fairy world. It WAS too shit to be true thank goodness. It reminded me of those planets in the original star trek

I read the books, I thought they were bollocks really (although I finished them....). The series is superior in every aspect of story, characterisation and dialogue. It is only very loosely based on the books, isn't it?

Yes I love the tv series more than the books. I think it's great that they do a lot more with the storylines in the tv series

I read the first four books and much prefer the tv series as well, I didnt enjoy the books at all really don't know why

The books got progressively worse IMO. at times not much happened like long descriptions of Sookie getting up in the morning. Haven't read the last book as I heard it was particularly poor.

Totally agree series is better than the books.. I have already seen this series..via naughty web but I am more than happy to watch it over again :)

Am really enjoying this so far but am wondering what Tara will do in this series ?

Just watched last night's and am a bit peeved that after all the many breasts, they diverted from the book to have Eric running down the road in his jeans

the fairy story puzzled me slightly -so sookie had literally been away with the fairies for the past 12mths rofl

eric is as scrummy as always and always did like a man in uniform!!!!

Second episode was good, loved Bill in 1982 as some kind of punky Adam Ant. And Eric shirtless and vulnerable at the end. Must re read the book as I can't remember some of the characters.

2nd episode was good

I've already watched the fourth season already and I found it to be better than season 3. Although sometimes, it's hard to keep up with all the smaller story lines.

Enjoyed last nights episode thought it was a good touch havin sookie read charlaine Harris book, but getting bit fed up already with Arlene being spooked by her own baby!

I'm glad they killed off Claudine earlier than in the books. She was a bit of a dud character.

Sorry hope that wasn't a spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen the latest episode yet!!
