exactly. nice cardis. I like a man who's not afraid to wear cardis.
have you seen Dennis's tattoos when the night-cameras are on? shocking

dinny · 23/01/2006 23:46

btw, anyone see the clip of Pete defending George, saying "He's dressed up in so many costumes. Tony Blair wouldn't do that." Er, no, exactly...

Beetroot · 23/01/2006 23:46

dinny · 23/01/2006 23:47

George: "Pipe down Mr Indignation. We'll see what the viewers thought of your double standards, your indignation about me and the aplomb with which you become a lying plutocrat in your gentleman's club. George this, Traci that, blah blah blah and give me another cigar!"

But George seemed most unhappy with the way things turned out, saying to Preston, "You float around promiscuously, stroking, metaphorically or literally, everybody's ass so as to protect your own. We saw on the screen your real character portrayed for all to see. And that's my last word."

George is venal!

monkeytrousers · 24/01/2006 08:41

I first thought he was vile when he took the fame game to seriously and said to to Rula about Jodie's protestations that Dennis was the most famous, that he was probably the most famous if you took into considerations how many Muslims knew of him...like Muslims don't enjoy sports, or have a TV to watch them on! He's like a film baddie he's so unsubtle.

Beetroot · 24/01/2006 09:07

incredible. Maybe he was rading the bible lastn ight.!!

Surely the reason he lost his voting power was becaseu he broke th erules ..simple!

Of course Pete and Geroge woujdl have taken the luxerys in the other room. Pete wjoudl have ahd a ball. FGS

monkeytrousers · 24/01/2006 09:24

Precisely, How many times has he said that he's not a team player and that he couldn't give two f*cks about anyone else in the house?

Preston had a lot of respect for George and he was devastated to hear of his duplicity. George can hardly condemn someone from learning from from such a mistake, him being the one to teach him. And Chantelle and Preston are so young, Pete and George have no such excuse.

Beetroot · 24/01/2006 09:27

C and p jsut had a laugh. They qwere offered a release form the awfulnes in the house. And how sad that tyhe otheers couldn't allow them to enjoy that. MB is coming over as much better now...

Earlybird · 24/01/2006 09:28

Haven't watched the whole thing, but do remember part of George's objection to losing his nominating privileges was because others had also discussed nominations/evictions and so should have been punished too. George others should also have lost their right to nominate.

Was he correct (and singled out for punishment), or was he simply being a slippery politician attempting to justify breaking the rules? (There does seem to be a double standard as Pete has not been punished for being in the bedroom when Rula was evicted.)

Must say that everytime I see George he looks more and more angry and depressed. Do you think he realises that going in the house has backfired badly for him? Instead of reaching an entirely new group of voters with his views, he has shredded his credibility and dignity. He won't be taken seriously again as a politician, and has IMO, destroyed his career.

Beetroot · 24/01/2006 09:31

I never heard anyone else. I would be surprised if BB were to single him out in that way

lucy5 · 24/01/2006 09:31

Goerge was reading the communist manifesto, a gift for passing the task. I think he was punished because he had already had a warning and a punishment. Pete was given a warning. George is sulking like a child, pete's behaviour has probably guarenteed that Chantelle will stay in.

Beetroot · 24/01/2006 09:33

He was taking along time to read it. He was sat there all night and seemed to only get through a few pages

lucy5 · 24/01/2006 09:34

I think he was probably pretending just so he didnt have to talk to anyone. I cant wait to see the arguement.

Beetroot · 24/01/2006 09:36

yes I agree Luch. You woudl think he had read it before so he would nothave to study it in close detail

monkeytrousers · 24/01/2006 09:40

Why is Pete drinking his coffee through a straw? He's turned himself into an evolutionary catastrophe!

Beetroot · 24/01/2006 09:41

think it is the only way he can

Enid · 24/01/2006 09:52

Preston I love you
Preston I do
Calling GG a 'f**ing wanker'
Made me love you

Enid · 24/01/2006 09:54

chantelle to win!

she isn't in the slightest bit dim - she's a nice Essex girl who works hard to keep everyone cheerful

Glad her and Preston had the gentlemans club treat

Enid · 24/01/2006 09:54
