Is it just me or does this programme get your into a hypnotic state. I find it so fasinating even though ive been there, done that. I spose you dont get to view it when you are going through labour yourself. Does anyone else love this programme.

I hope their child/ daughter never watches this back and sees Mum saying she would be disappointed if it was a girl :(

scarletforya · 25/01/2012 21:13

Is she serious she will be disappointed with a girl? Confused

Tears here already. I'm due with DC2 at the end of April, and I don't know whether watching is a good idea but I want to anyway!

I've only watched a few episodes of all the various series because I always seem to be pregnant and too much of a wuss. The one I watched when pregnant with DD was a classic, I had just had the all clear at the 20 wk scan and decided to brave it. It was the series done at Southampton and I switched on to see someone I knew, up close and personal. I saw a whole new 'side' to her! Grin

emmanana · 25/01/2012 21:18

5, thats so sad. A friend of mine at Primary school, her mum had a type of cerebral palsy, and couldn't talk very clearly and had a gait that meant she walked very slowly. She had 4 kids and every one turned out great. They were a lovely family.

gregssausageroll · 25/01/2012 21:18

eh? don't get you starlight?

5inthebed · 25/01/2012 21:18

No, they got detention at school but never prosecuted. Was in the 70s, she is 48 now and lives in a home as MIL cannot look after her any more. She has an active life though and I ferry her around all the time to parties/bingo/bowling.

missmiss · 25/01/2012 21:19
