anything happening in the house??

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2006 09:54

they have all got the boxes to sit in like last BB

I think who ever said about MB in early stages of parkinsons may be right

The way he is walking today looks like my aunty had in the early days, a sort of shuffle

OP posts:
7777777 · 14/01/2006 09:56

would parkinsons affect his personality kanga?

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2006 10:02

i don't really know I know my aunty got very irritable and short tempered BUT that could have been the frustration of not being able to do things etc. Or it could have been the drugs to try to stop the shakes etc.

She was older though in her late 70s - but it was the way he was shuffleing around when I turned on that really struck me

I have no idea if he has it was just an observation

flutterbee · 14/01/2006 15:15

I can't believe that Davina told us to watch the live streaming to see Jimmy come into the house, I watched for ages saw the box task thought oooohhh this is it he's going to walk in while there in there boxes, but no out they all got, they hung around chatting for a while and then the live streaming cut off and its not coming back on until late tonight

GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT DAVINA.

Jockey · 14/01/2006 15:45

Yes, can't believe it Flutterbee - been lurking round the telly all day for nowt!

monkeytrousers · 14/01/2006 16:49

MB saw Jodie wasn't too popular and picked up on it to deflect any negative attention towards him I reckon. Now she's gone who will he pick on next - when will he have no one to hide behind? He's a very sad bitter man. Sanity hanging by a thread.

beansprout · 14/01/2006 16:52

MB is arguing with himself. Everything he said last night about her needing attention absolutely applies to him. That's why he reacted so strongly to her - she represents all the bits that he hates about himself.

tiredemma · 14/01/2006 16:52

the more i see MB the more i despise him.

7777777 · 14/01/2006 18:35

is jimmy in there yet kanga?hes so eccentric, hope he pisses MB, GG and PB off and stands up to em as Jodie couldnt

RTKangaMummy · 14/01/2006 19:53

yes he is there

Jimmy, can you fix it for me to be a knight like you? Here's Jimmy!
Day 10, 13:20
Saturday 14 January

Jimmy Savile has entered the building. The tracksuit-wearing, cigar-smoking TV legend is in the Big Brother House as an official guest and begun his visit by waffling to star-struck Housemates.

The group were alerted to Sir Jimmy's entrance by an unexpected ring of the House's rarely used doorbell. This noise was quickly followed by a rendition of the theme from the famous TV show Jim'll Fix It.

"It's Rainbow," declared Michael mistakenly, before the tune's catchy melody struck a chord, at which he broke into a grin.

"Now then, now then," he said, delivering the obligatory impersonation. "Oh no! Jim'll Fix It!" he confirmed.

The music stopped and the Housemates' guest appeared before them in the doorway, resplendent in rose-tinted glasses, stylish red tracksuit, gold chain and a mop of white hair.

George finally meets his childhood heroFaria shrieked in delight, while other Housemates applauded and cheered, as Jimmy greeted each Housemate individually, starting with Dennis.

"I have a violent nature, but you have nothing to fear from me," he assured the towering basketball star.

"You feel good?" asked Michael.

"Indestructible," Jimmy replied.

Once the introductions were over, Jimmy announced importantly: "I'm here because I thought you might need something fixing."

"I've got an earring that needs fixing," responded the ever-sharp Chantelle.

"This is the legendary Jimmy Savile," confirmed George, presumably for the benefit of the baffled Americans.

C'mon guys, show some respect... it's Jimmy Savile!

The Neverending Story
Day 10, 14:00
Saturday 14 January

The Housemates have never been so quiet. They've been sitting on the sofas listening respectfully while their new guest rambles entertaining nonsense at them.

Jimmy Savile is holding court in the living area, regaling the group with tales of Elvis, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

He implied that it was his idea to enter the House, saying: "It occurred to me that you might want something fixing, so I've come here to do it."

What a generous guy.

He's charmed the ladies; "A red-blooded man like me can't stay here overnight with you girls like you in here, I'd get three months in the slammer."

Come on girls, at least pretend to be interestedHe's discussed sporting issues with Dennis: "I've watched the Superbowl and all that and I've wondered how an athlete feels performing in front of so many people. Fantastic."

The loveable eccentric has also discussed issues ranging from baked beans and pork pies to and his dear old mum, "the Duchess".

The group's initial excitement about Jimmy's stories appeared to wane slightly as the novelty of the situation wore off. Chantelle stared blankly ahead with a bored expression, while Pete and Dennis appeared to be sleeping.

Undeterred, Jimmy continues to waffle, happily, without cease...

Sir Jimmy briefs the House on the taskThe Good Fixer
Day 10, 17:53
Saturday 14 January

So, the original King of Bling is in the house - Sir Jimmy has been rocking the tracksuit-n-jangle-jewellery look since before Diddy was in diapers - and the TV hero is already lining up the fix.

As if meeting the man himself wasn't enough for one day the House's jingly-jangly guest has revealed he's there to make the celebrities' dreams come true.

And it was like a step back in time to his legendary Saturday night TV show 'Jim'll Fix It' as Housemates discovered they had the task to write Sir Jim a letter, asking him to 'fix' their wish.

George, already in a star-struck tizzy about meeting the former DJ, was given the task to read out by his idol.

"It's an honour," he gushed. "As a man of 51 years old, you've been a star all my life."

Reading out the task, George told his Housemates they should "think imaginatively" and "look into their souls when thinking of a wish".

"Write what you like," invited Sir Jimmy, before advising: "A good fix-it will fit on one side of paper. Don't rush. And if you ladies should put your phone numbers down, that's fine by me." The old smoothie.

"So do we write 'Dear Jim, please can you fix it for me to ...'," asked Chantelle.

"It's not rocket science, is it?" replied Sir Jimmy.

Who knows, considering the size of some celebrities diva-like demands, he could find his fixing magic pushed to the limits.
