How much longer is Merlin going to save Arthur and Arthur not realise that Merlin can do magic.
Or any one else relaise he can do magic.
How much longer can they drag out Morgana and her smirking and scowling.
and how many more times can Arthur gratuitously take his shirt off Wink

I'm actually starting to get a bit bored by it all now

Glad you said that Saltire, I think they ought to wind it up now. Do you know if they are making a 5th series? Even 9 yo ds is saying he's going off it because it's always the same "they keep going in the forest...."

I thought this week's episode was very samey with the young girl being transformed, they've done that before with Freya.

Although, last series - I felt it was going on for too long until the last couple of episodes, which I really enjoyed.

BUT Lancelot is back next week Wink extra eye candy...

ezzie21 · 22/11/2011 15:06

arthur could do with a flash card about whats going in his castle Grin

could someone feed merlin up a bit, im worried about his skinny body, a good rub with some fake tan would help , surely they would have been a bit sun burnt and grubby in those day Hmm

Saltire · 22/11/2011 15:32

Well yes there is the advantage that Lancelot is back - but there again that's another part of the "myth" that they should surely be looking into doing- the Arthur/Lancelot/.Guinevere love trainagle
Although how they are going to get round the story that Guinevere is burned for adultery is anyone's guess.Hmm

I just think they need to start wrapping it up.
I did a huge sigh of relief last series as I thought they'd got rid of Morgana for good - her role dosn't require much acting skill does it?

I do rather love its general air of naffness and predictability. That's what I enjoy about it (no one actually watches it because they think it's GOOD, do they?).

GettinTrimmer · 22/11/2011 15:58

Well, I've just googled and found out that they are doing a 5th series. So I don't think Arthur will find out Merlin has magic just yet....

BeattieBow · 22/11/2011 16:01

I'm liking it much more now that Arthur has bulked up and takes his shirt off alot. Also rather like Lancelot...

(only watch it because the dcs love it, but enjoying it much more these days...)

noeyedear · 22/11/2011 17:43

I'm a bit bored of Morgana too. It's a bit 'this week, lets turn Merlin into an assassin', 'this week, lets turn a random knight into an assassin' 'this week, lets get someone to poison Arthur......" blah blah blah... ( I still watch it though..without the DC's but I don't really care if I miss it, which I did the last serieses)

NinkyNonker · 27/11/2011 09:25

Bah humbug, no wedding.

ShowOfHands · 27/11/2011 09:30

Maybe Arthur should take off his trousers instead...

GettinTrimmer · 27/11/2011 19:06

The wedding probably won't be until the end of the 5th series now. What a naff storyline this week.

Or maybe Gawain to take off his trousers

AtYourCervix · 27/11/2011 19:09

i am thoroughly enjoying this series.

in almost ever episode arthur is in bed with his shirt off.

i am also developing a bit of a thing for percy.

hattymattie · 27/11/2011 19:16

Lancelot coming out of the lake - worked for me!!!Smile

Wolfiefan · 27/11/2011 19:19

Christmas special. No shirts and trouserless. Not Gaius tho!!

AtYourCervix · 27/11/2011 19:20

oh god.

arhtur naked.

need a lie down.

NinkyNonker · 27/11/2011 21:27

I am such a soppy get. I am still gutted about Guinevere pottering off with her little handcart.

GinLizzy · 28/11/2011 10:09

Why didnt Merlin and Gauis tell Arthur that she'd been bewitched, so it wasnt her fault that she'd kissed Lancelot?

thefurryone · 28/11/2011 10:14

I thought they didn't realise she was bewitched, just that Lancelot was?

I might be wrong I spent most of episode daydreaming about an Arthur/ Lancelot/ furryone love triangle BlushBlush

Furball · 28/11/2011 10:35

me too about poor Gwen pottering off all forlorn.

I think either they didn't know she was be-witched or if they did they couldn't say as it's magic

GinLizzy · 28/11/2011 10:57

Oh, of course. They only know about Lancelot being bewitched by Morgana. Nobody's found the bewitched bangle in the dungeon. Yet. Was on my 2nd (large) glass of wine by the end so wasn't listening properly. :)

NinkyNonker · 28/11/2011 12:40

I'm still pondering solutions now. I know they'll end up together as that is the legend, but oh the frustration! I don't get how they didn't figure out his reappearance had something to do with their impending wedding, too much of a coincidence otherwise!

GothAnneGeddes · 01/12/2011 22:51

Is it wrong to quite like Merlin, as in the actor who plays him? He has an air about him... Blush

RedBlanket · 01/12/2011 23:00

'and how many more times can Arthur gratuitously take his shirt off '
Oh there's plenty of life left in that storyline.

EdithWeston · 01/12/2011 23:03

I think I'd quite like to see all the Round Table knights, dishevelled after battle, all taking their shirts off.

RedBlanket · 01/12/2011 23:08

Edith - you should email the BBC with that storyline pronto.

Smophette · 03/12/2011 20:52

Erm did anyone else jump when the spirit kid kept popping up? Or am I a complete wuss?
