That was a troll oooggs.. Hilariously the bookies all believed it and changed their odds, which meant that the DS posters also thought that it must be true, since they'd always assumed that the bookies got their information from the BBC.

The Guardian live blog doesn't publish the spoiler but was happy to reveal that Holly had been incredibly happy on Twitter all day, and hence presumably wasn't out.

Who the hell is voting for Alex and why?

I think Chelsee will be saved by all her little mates on Waterloo Road-glued to their phones whilst hanging around at rehersals!! It's a HUGE cast literally a school full (or at least several classes) So if they all vote numerous times & encourage their friends & family too, that alone is a big vote pool, without all the fans she's gained through being a sweetie on this show.

Harry will have the McFly fans votes, Alex the One show fans, but has Holly got a big fan base here?

I don't think Chelsee is getting votes for simply being "a sweetie". She's one hell of a dancer as well!

I meant hard work AND being a sweetie, she has grown on me over the weeks, her enthusiasm & sheer love of it all is lovely to watch!

Liked Tess's trouser suit; pity about the results dress.

Harry: looked AWFUL in that New Romantic shirt and the scarf ... Cringeworthy. Thought he had no real feel for the dance ? didn't dance from the inside out ? no sense of undulating or of the movement coming up from the floor and through to his arms and hands. Stiff and plankish.

Robbie: found the tight trousers disturbing and howled with laughter at Bruno 'you look like something inbetween Kate Moss and Russell Brand.' Dance was average. Don't mind that he's gone out.

Jason: dull. Very revealing that there was no standing ovation. Thought Kristina could have been a bit more sporting than to cry about being in the bottom two.

Holly: fab. Great arm and hand shaping and attitude. Would have liked a bit more pulled-up posture and thrust-forward hips, but loved it. Beautiful dress. Would have put Artem in a strip mask just covering the eyes, not that huge thing with the head stocking.

Alex: average and overmarked. Oddly, her attitude to the dress malfunction was better when it happened weeks ago; she seemed very thrown by it this week.

Chelsee: a firecracker! What a performance. Fab. Pasha in green face and those ears made me feel a bit queasy though.

Aries, where did you read that Robbie interview? Would love to read it and speculate about who isn't popular! Wonder who they are? well, pretty sure one of them is Jason.

Am sniggering at the Mirror article. It confirmed my preconceptions suspicions about Jason actually. The word diva is an apt one.

Ok - my sum up...

Thought Tess looked lovely on Saturday but I can't be the only one who thought she looked an absolute FRIGHT on Sunday... what was she thinking, surely she has some sort of say. Mind you, she is a robot so maybe has no opinion?

Robbie - not too bad and thought they looked great (loved the sequinned shoulders) but clearly the weakest of all the dancers.

Harry - thought pretty poor and must admit was glad that as the night went on he was pushed down the leader board. Don't get me wrong, I think he's good but just think he is very overated (except for his Quickstep which was fabulous!)

Alex - no real opinion, she is strangely vanilla for me!

Holly - thought this was great and glad to see it kept them out of the bottom two. Have been surprised they've been there twice considering Artems fanbase...?

Jason - I really liked it and, to buck the thread, do really like him. He is a bit dull and all that but it's JASON DONOVAN and he always witters on a bit.. was sad to see him in the bottom two but I don't vote so couldn't have got too stroppy ha dhe gone!

Chelsee - best dance of the night for me - boy, can she go! She HAS to get to the final as she has also come on leaps and bounds since the start... go Chelsee (and Pasha is lovely too!!)

Sooo - the right person left but was surprised Alex and James weren't in the bottom too. Agree that Kristina is going for tactics although she couldn't influence anything by that point in the show.. Didn't realise it was a double eviction next week - perhaps might even vote for Jason to try and keep him out of the bottom as he'd have gone if that has been the case this week?

I had no idea that she was going out with Nick Candy and don't care. I don't like her because I think she's bland, whiny and lacking in charm.

I've loved Jason since the mullet and Angry Anderson but even i have to admit he's a little, ahem, 'earnest'. I wouldn't mind if it was him, Harry or Chelsee, all really good. Think it will be Harry though, he's going to have the biggest fanbase, and he's really good.

Strictly really does change the public's perception of you as Robbie said. Prior to SCD I thought Jason was an easy going, good for a laugh bloke. Sadly, now I think he's a bit of a nob.
Chelsee has grown on me - after the first show I wanted to rip off my ears and eat them rather than listen to her voice, but she's not as shallow or vain as I thought she'd be.
Alex - funny, nice, endearing.
Holly - dry, witty, sarcastic.
Harry - bland but nice, talented, modest.

I'm pleased Jason's got over the difficult times he got into years back, and I think it's good to see an oldie keeping the side up - but by God he's dull. Not sure how nice I can believe he is either.
I don't suppose anyone gets very far in The Business being nice, though, so he's probably not unusual in that.

he came across well in IACGMOOH, quite zany but decent. that's reality show storylining for you...

I think Jason's always been a bit earnest and as someone I think said earlier in the thread, the years of therapy have probably made him a bit over analytical! I think he is quite funny, certainly has been in interviews I've heard with him over the years but the editing in Strictly hasn't shown that side of him at all which is a shame.
