Pinot! Now we can have our own insider spoiler info. And you can plant the hidden microphone - er, plant the microphone-to-be-hidden in the CN.

Please start practising stealth manoeuvres and texting from the gloom of the top tier seats Grin

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 03/11/2011 17:17

CaveMum, you and I together can take her down and share the tickets ...

iklboo · 03/11/2011 17:33

I would maim someone to be able to do a Paso with Robin Windsor. To Muse's 'Muscle Museum'. It would probably be too dirty for tv Grin

Fiderer · 03/11/2011 17:39

I hope you notice Pinot that I have no intention of pinching your tickets can't afford the flight. I look forward to your multiple PMs with all the juicy insider gossip and your acute observations.

CaveMum · 03/11/2011 18:52

[psst] Clarice: you distract her with a kitten and I'll run up behind and nick her handbag.

LetUsPrey · 03/11/2011 19:16

iklboo - in my head I can dance a perfect quickstep with Ian Waite to The Divine Comedy's National Express. I suspect the reality would be vair different.

PINNNOOOOOOOT - COME OVER HERE AND GIVE US A SNOG!

iklboo · 03/11/2011 19:19

Letuspray I suspect my fantasy Paso Doble would be more 'Pass The Sick Bag' Grin

Pinot · 03/11/2011 19:23

Ha Grin Grin very funny laydeez GrinGrin

Pan · 03/11/2011 20:03

Pinot! Old friend! Grin. Ignore these fair-weather friends. You will obv. need a handsome, svelte, buck in a tuxedo to accompany you for the evening. And I think I know just the man....Hmm

How fabulous Pinot - lucky lucky you!

and since we're talking dream dances, I would just LOVE to do anything with Matthew Cutler - preferably ballroom so I could wear a lovely frock but to be honest, I would shake my wobbly bits about to something Latin if it meant he'd be my partner.. I just ADORE him... bring him back

CaveMum · 03/11/2011 22:09

Sorry all, just got in from teaching my salsa class Grin

Dream dances? [ponders]

Waltz with Anton

Rumba with James

Quickstep with Darren for me I think Smile. Or something with Pascha not too bothered which dance

Pinot, you lucky lucky thing! You'll have to take lots of notes!

Finallygotaroundtoit · 03/11/2011 23:42

There is an episode of Malcolm in the Middle where the 'mom' imagines her dancing is akin to Astaire and Rogers at their best,

The reality is more like a drunk aunt at a wedding Grin

CaveMum · 04/11/2011 07:59

Finally I remember that episode! I love Malcolm in the Middle Grin

Pinot · 04/11/2011 09:14

My dream dance would be a Quickstep with Anton.

Or an Argentine Tango with Vincent.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 04/11/2011 11:07

CaveMum, the kitten's ready ...

Dream dance. Hmmm. I don't fancy any of the pro dancers, which makes it a bit less interesting, but I do adore Ian Waite in a Gay Best Friend way and I'd like to have a go at an Argentine tango with him. And a rumba.

Actually, second thoughts ? I wouldn't mind an Argentine tango with Artem. And that both is and is not a euphemism.

CeliaFate · 04/11/2011 11:48

My fantasy dance would be a tango with Vincent or Quickstep with Ian.

bebeballroom · 04/11/2011 12:44

Oooh yes, an AT with Vincent! I'd love to do that! A quickstep with Ian also a good fantasy dance. (Although sadly I think I'm way too short to be able to do that convincingly!) Anything with Artem would be good....maybe a Vienese Waltz or a Paso.

My mum has just rung to gloat tell me about her friend inviting her to go to the Wembly show with her in 2 weeks time! Envy S'not fair!

gailforce1 · 04/11/2011 19:07

Can you believe the series is halfway through?!
Its all going far too quickly..
Please someone slow it down!

Prolesworth · 04/11/2011 19:09

How good did Holly and Artem's jive look?! Can't wait for that one

mamas12 · 05/11/2011 14:01

Hello have been lurking for while here but I have to burst out with it now.
I really feel Anton du Beke is one the nastiest people on tv at the moment.
It's all about him when he dances, he actually used Nancy del Ollio (SP) as a holding on stand while he did a 'lovely' leg move once.
I also heard her asking him to get her up from a hold a couple of times as he was leaving her in it for comedic purposes.
However much I like or don't like Nancy (which is another thread entirely) I think she deserved better than the way he tried to get laughs all the time and makes jokes over her head, with the language difficulty it was sooo patronising.
He always jerkily pushes and pulls his partners about to make them look worse. Now I know he hasn't had a lot of people with rythym shall we say, but if Chistina could make John Seargent look great doing a waltz couldn't he at least try to make his partner look good and not try to show her up?

Phew thanks all. I pity anyone who has to have Anton as a partner
(Gossip alert - I have also heard he is the biggest diva who has the biggest tantrums on the show (wink))

Loved last weeks and Looking forward to tonight.

2BoysTooLoud · 05/11/2011 14:14

I agree with much of what you have said mamas.
Also I shall miss eccentric Nancy!!

2BoysTooLoud · 05/11/2011 14:19

And.. do think Anton has become a big head who needs to be taken down a peg or 6.

ScatterChasse · 05/11/2011 15:14

I think he's fed up to be honest. He's just messing about now.
