at fab 'stage' directions Yes - David Boreanaz said that he loved playing Angelus rather than Angel and Paul Wesley must prefer evil Stefan.

I am an episode behind - have only just watched last week's (where Tyler was turned, etc) and as I watched the last few moments of that - Damon and Elena all cosy in front of the fire and then Stefan blazes in all bad and sarcastic leaving a trail of corpses in his wake - it struck me how times have changed since Damon first arrived in Mystic Falls in almost exactly the same way!

Oh dear, I NEED to catch up so we can chat properly. Elena and Damon, and Mason returning sounds fab...although wasn't Mason killed, or have I remembered that wrongly (are there now officially more dead people than living in this show what with all the vampires and all the ghosties?) It's Friday tomorrow - yummy Vampire Diaries night (instead of boring marking and writing reports which is what I am doing at the moment - can't you tell??)

BTW, is it only me who watched that hospital scene (where Damon sweeps Elena into his arms and carries her out) thinking:

a) swoon - he is such a dreamy gorgeous romantic hero-type

and

b) BLOODY HELL - how light is she?? Any man that tried to carry me more than a metre would need hospitalising himself

Loving new, feisty, less Stefan-whipped Elena. And also liking seeing Ric back in action rather than drowning his sorrows all the time. But not happy with hybrid Tyler - I want lovely TylerandCaroline back

And somebody please stake Rebecca already - if ever a vampire needed dusting, it's her. On the plus side, she is so annoying, she makes me miss Klaus.

But as for the 'way to a vampire's heart' scene between Damon and Elena - be still my non beating vampire heart
