If I was the kids in the garden I would stay there. 'Do you want to go outside?', 2 seconds later 'Give me a kiss'. I was willing him to slap her!

That's right put her in front of the telly. EAT WITH YOUR CHILD like normal people do!

mumatron · 08/08/2011 21:27

Yum, day old bolognese. My fave.

Poor coco

HarrietJones · 08/08/2011 21:28

Ramekin ? Is she a MNer?

changer22 · 08/08/2011 21:28

This really is a freak show. I'm off to empty the dishwasher.

NannyCupcake · 08/08/2011 21:29

That couple who put their boys outside were on the show House of Tiny Tearaways a few years ago. If I remember correctly they were really wet and not strict at all!

stigofthelump · 08/08/2011 21:35

She doesn't think the papers blow anything out of proportion...THATS THEIR JOB Confused
AAAgh I'm off to bed now

bitsnbobs · 08/08/2011 21:37

Am dreading when my two are teenagers

superjobee · 08/08/2011 21:38

that emo teen is an attention seeking fuckwit i'd crack up having a kid like her!

LoveBeingAtHomeOnMyOwn · 08/08/2011 21:40

Blimey

superjobee · 08/08/2011 21:42

TheCrunchyside · 08/08/2011 21:43

omg how could she stand by and let a 14 year old neck pure vodka. it sounded like she'd never tried it before and she was obviously showing off for the camera.

feeling sorry for all the families who agreed to participate only to be roundly judged by cherry

superjobee · 08/08/2011 21:45

the hippy mum seems pretty in control for being a hippy but in a good way

sungirltan · 08/08/2011 21:47

Just flicked it on as a result of this thread.

You're right, shocking she would teach her DD the alphabet without using phoinics Grin

superjobee · 08/08/2011 21:55

emo mum just flouced!!

LoveBeingAtHomeOnMyOwn · 08/08/2011 21:57

All that cause her daughter got pissed???

superjobee · 08/08/2011 21:59

you can see where emo kid got the attention seeking from with a mum like that Hmm see at the end wehwere they show the books theres the mumsnet rules Grin mildly obsessed that MN is taking over the world sans creepy wee brackets

girliefriend · 08/08/2011 22:08

love programmes like this as it makes me feel quite normal!!!

Can't believe she spent 11hrs getting coco to eat spag bol - wtf?!!!

Not looking forward to the teenage yrs though - that looks scary Sad

b1uebells · 09/08/2011 00:04

Shocked at the parents who put their boys out in dark. That dad has been on tv before but I can't remember where!

Curiousmama · 09/08/2011 00:13

Am watching it now on BBC3 Shock The lap dancer who has no clue!!! WTF and those smacking parents who put kids outside Angry

coco should have her own spoon, proper bowl and maybe finger foods. Oh she's just picked up spoon herself as I type haha.

LoveBeingAtHomeOnMyOwn · 09/08/2011 06:58

The snaking parents, did you notice as the dad was saying how important table manners are to them he had his elbows on the table and then it cut to the boys eating pasta with their fingers Grin. But come on if you have to smack then 3 times a week it's really not working is it? And funnily enough if you put me in the garden in the dark in my ownnid probably agree to go to bed as well, that's just disgusting!

I felt a bit sorry for the lapdancer, those kids really weren't happy.

Must admit to talking to the telly when she was trying to feed coco, she seemed to be screaming out to want to feed herself.

b1uebells · 09/08/2011 09:26

That's it nannycupcake, knew I recognised him from somewhere!

mrjellykeepskidsquiet · 09/08/2011 12:39

Quite liked hippy mum and at least the teenagers mum was bothered about where her daughter is going in life.

None of the others really covered themselves in glory tbh....the pair that put there DS's in the garden where particularly WTF moments. Seemed like they punished them for really petty things

LilBB · 09/08/2011 14:29

The parents who put their kids outside where just too strict. The lapdancers kids weren't happy cos they wanted their mothers attention not Xbox games. Sorry but you can't be a good parent working 3 job and getting 3 hours sleep!!! The pushy mum was weird, those kids will rebel and end up beauticians instead of going to Oxbridge. I like cherry but I didn't get why she didn't sit at the table with coco and have a meal. If coco hadn't eaten for 11 hours what time was it and what had cherry eaten? At 18 months she should (and could) feed herself.
