Holly's a product of the Thatcher years (and yes I've lived here since then): assessment-driven, anxious, anal, and ever-so-slightly selfish. 'In OUR house Father Christmas always has cheesecake'; give me a break! Compare her to her older competition: laid back, adventurous, self-deprecating women who know they're not perfect, and can live with it. If the future is Holly, heaven help us.
