Neighbours - favourite characters, past and present

Who do you love (and hate), and who do you miss?

ATM, I like Kyle, always loved Susan and Karl, Paul...
Hate - Kate, Sonya, Kate, Sophie, Kate, Tash, Kate, Lyn, Kate...

I miss - the original Declan, Donna, Zeke (has he left for good?)

I feel like there arent many BIG characters at the moment, most of them are all sort of "fillers". Hopefully someone big will come into it soon

I miss Connor Sad. I keep hoping that Pauls evil son didn't really kill him and that he'll come back. I also miss Joe Mangal. And will Billy and Anne come back with Mal? Libby is really annoying me at the moment though, and I was glad to see the back of child genius Ben.

I hate Andrews hybrid Scottish-Aussie accent, he seems to forget which one he's meant to be using mid sentence! Elle was rather irritating too. I don't miss Hannah, Julie, and Harolds granddaughter at all (I can't remember her name). Does anyone remember when baby Skye got bitten by a poisonous spider?

But what I love best about neighbours is that Dr Karl can treat/diagnose/operate on any condition and no matter what reason anyone is in hospital for they always get treated in the same room!

They need a huge injection of new characters - I think they've run it down to minimum numbers as far as plotting goes.

One of my favourites was Toadie's cousin, think his name was Tad? Short for Tadpole of course, every member of the Rebecchi family must have a fishy name, it's in the Neighbours rulebook.

Least favourite characters were Julie and Phil Daniels and their daughters, Debbie and Hannah. Crap actors and totally unlikeable characters. Best storyline they had was when Julie was killed on a murder mystery weekend.

Oh, this is bringing back memories of Neighbours in olden times.
Mrs. Mangel and Joe Mangel.
Daphne who married Des, and had her baby outside somewhere without taking her tights off.
Henry was Charlene's brother wasn't he.
And Libbie's first husband who was killed but I can't remember his name, he was very good looking.

Yes Drew was his name.
He was gorgeous, and died very tragically but I can't remember how.
I used to love Neighbours, I never watch it now.

Does anyone else remember dannii? She was a twin and her brother was libbys friend and madly in love with her?? She had a storyline where she got the top of her ear pierced and her mum (and lou?) Went mental!! Rock and roll!

yes I remember Dannii and her mum was Cheryl who copped of with Lou. were they related to the Darren who had an on off thing with Libbie and I believe he was originally played by the actor who is now Lucas.

Yes Darren starkey was their brother. Lucas played the original Darren but he left for heartbreak high so they got in another actor to play darren with Libby in teenage years and he returned for a while when Libby and Ben went off to live with him and again when they came back to Erinsborough for a hoilday after he had an affair and then Libby left him.

I liked Connor. I also liked Carmella and her dodgy gangster dad and her brief time as a nun!! Quite bizarre. At the moment my favourite is probably Kyle.

I hate Kate, Summer, Andrew and Tash. The current batch of teenagers are annoying. I remember Hannah used to really annoy me when she was in it. I like old Declan but not the new Declan, glad he went out of it. Brainy Ben was annoying, as is Charlie. Are any soap kids not annoying? I have to say worst character of all time has to be Didge for me. Good god she was annoying and whiny.

I have annoyed myself with the amount of times I've written annoying!!

I remember the African episode. it was quite good in a way. I agree all the soap kids are irritating. they are so bratty. can't stand Kate's sister Sally either.

I used to love Kylie when she was Charlene in Neighbours. I used to pretend to be her! Blush I was about 4 or 5 at the time.

Yy to hating Julie, Debbie and Hannah Martin! I couldn't stand Dani either!

Does anyone remember Dieter Brummer (Troy, Sonya's ex) as Shane in Home & Away?
