Who do you love (and hate), and who do you miss?

ATM, I like Kyle, always loved Susan and Karl, Paul...
Hate - Kate, Sonya, Kate, Sophie, Kate, Tash, Kate, Lyn, Kate...

I miss - the original Declan, Donna, Zeke (has he left for good?)

I feel like there arent many BIG characters at the moment, most of them are all sort of "fillers". Hopefully someone big will come into it soon

I do remember that Kerry wouldn't let Skye wear shoes, so she could feel the grass beneath her feet and be alert for danger...for such an intellectually stimulated child, she wasn't half dull. She just grunted the same as every other snotty-nosed toddler in a soap opera who doesn't get paid for dialogue.

Did she? I remember when she came back, looking about as different as it's possible to be. Who else changed really obviously? They lived in Helen's house, a girl........

Oh, and do you remember the other resident hippy-living-in-the-dullest-part-of-suburbia-having-very-little-sex-and-never-leaving-the-street, Serendipity? That lasted two episodes before they all started calling her Ren.

I haven't watched it for years and years - but long long ago there was Daphne. She was a stripper with a heart of gold and she married Des, before dying tragically. I did love Daphne.

She had terrible hair though. Not very erotic at all.

Sex? in Neighbours? nooooooo. Lots of slurpy snogging though.

I am having a proper trip back in time. Weeing laughing at Lou's Russian Bride Mishka/Moushka. And the blind boy, did he lose his sight in some kind of Bouncer-realated incident or did I invent that?

All of this is making me weep with laughter. The choocks! The mental horse! The Naughty French girl!

Oh this is bringing back memories!

I liked Lauren, even though she was the OW to Brad and Beth.
Phoebe and Todd- that was so tragic!
But Scott and Charlene were the best.

Henry was nice too.

Julie (Phil's wife, Debbie & Button's mum - nearly stopped watching when she joined)
Sky - annoying toddler version
Harold's son David
Annalise's little sister with the wierd mouth and lack of acting skills
Steph's son Charlie, and Libby's son - both need a good slap.

Julie! That voice. That was early 90s wasn't it? I remember hating her. Harold's son David came good in the end. His daughter was annoying wasn't she and looked odd.

also Dorothy and Lance. Dorothy was really into star trek. I also liked Lance.

remember when wooden top Jim had his heart attack and had got it together with Annalise's ghastly mother Fiona.

Also Button was so annoying as were most of the kids on neighbours. Bratty original Summer for example.

I didnt watch for a year or two, mainly while Nina Tucker etc were in it, so I dont remember Taj at all.

I loved Todd, I'd forgotten about him.

Lance was The Geek wasn't he? Was it him I was thinking of, not Toady, with the Star Trek date then?

I had a group of male friends, all way too cool to watch Neighbours natch, who called their houseshare the House Of Trouser like Toady, Lance and whoever else it was.

Does anyone remember it being on tv at 9am and then teatime? I used to miss lectures at Uni to watch it at 9am

Oh I'd love it if channel 5 decided to show all the episodes again from the start. It would probably seem really dated but it would be fantastic to see some of these characters again!

I miss Stingray. And I hate Kate, Natasha, summer and Andrew of the disappearing accent.

For some weird reason I was allowed to watch Neighbours but not H&A or Grange Hill . It was on after Blue Peter.

I also loved Billy Kennedy. Just because he was so pretty. Now I watch him in House and wonder if he has a painting hidden in his attic.

He wasn't that pretty in that weirdy painting in Susan'n'Karl's house. Did Helen do it? Better than Mal, granted.

While we're kind of on the subject can someone tell me this -

Heath Ledger - who was he in Home and Away. I've googled and still can't remember him in it. I watched it from the start, I knoiw his character name was Scott but just can't remember him. Was he in it for long?

Guy from Neighbours was Guy in Neighbours, wasn't he? I like that.
