just watched the last one. really disappointed that the bloke who was released broke his parole thought he'd stick with the job he got offered.

Bellini I was sad about him too.

On reflection tho, the job he got was probably minimum wage and if he had a hostel place his housing benefit would have been cut so the bulk of his earnings would have had to go on rent/council tax. Difficult to stay motivated when you're working but still broke I should imagine.

Missed opportunity IMO. Loads more interesting stuff goes on in prisons as well as really mundane stuff. To get that much access to the jail and not show more is a shame. Education, programmes work with various sorts of offenders, psychology and also to show that mainly prison is pretty boring most of the time.
