Is tonight the first new episode of VP?

I get what's happened but wondered if it had been the first one last week?

I don't remember Klaus kidnapping Katherine?

Me too Grin re Damon being hot and sweaty - phew!

However, just to be pedantic whilst it didn't look good for Rose she actually died because Damon staked her to stop her suffering.

They WILL come up with a cure they have too. What would TVD be without Damon! I'm not sure I'd even watch it anymore.

You're right Cowardly it was on in America on the 12th. Not fair, not fair. I'm having to stay off the fanfiction and forums to avoid any spoilers and it's gonna be sooooo hard. (I like the 'compel' ref - very good Grin).

I agree with what was said earlier I hope they don't leave Damon's survival as a cliffhanger for next Season. That would just about kill me to have to wait that long.

Will we have to wait for October for the next season? Its faaar too long. Why can't they just record it weekly like the soaps?

Hey, be grateful that you only have to wait until October. Pity the poor UK Supernatural fans... S5 ended over here about a year ago, couple of weeks after it aired in the US. S6 finale is next Friday in the US but ruddy Sky Living hasn't even begun to show it over here yet Sad

I can't bear to watch if Damon dies - but I can just see it now - he dies and then it ends leaving us all to ponder upon what miracles of vampire technology they'll muster up to bring him back.

That's too cruel.

I'm not sure about new season, its just that this season started in October so I just assumed next season would.

Haha - I reckon Stefan will go with Klaus, like he wants, and he'll ask Damon (once cured with werewolf blood) to 'look after' Elena.

Then Stefan will become a bad vampire in the next season perhaps and it'll be Damon's conquest to rescue him back and turn him good again - whilst getting it on with Elena.

Weird ending but great that it's not a huge cliff hanger until autumn.

It'll be back on in the US by mid/late September I expect, but I don't know when it'll be back here. Was it shadowing the US airdate right from the very beginning?

Sorry I'm a bit late. I was out last night (grrr) so had to wait until this morning before I could watch it (though I was tempted when I got in late last nightGrin).

Absolutely loved the episode and can't wait for the next Season it's gonna be sooo interesting to see where they go with Elena, Damon and Stefan. As well as the whole Jeremy 'I can see dead people' storyline.

Yes we mirrored the US this year only lagging by a week so hopefully it'll be the same next Season.

How am I going to make it until then.....I'll just have to keep watching my Season 1 boxset and S2 recordings Sad.

Could always switch to LOST series one for some more of Ian Somerhalder - is better as Damon than Boon though I think.

Love the photo, thanks vintage. He is quite photogenic isn't he (yum).

Strangely I never liked him in Lost and was really unsure when he was cast as Damon - something about his eyebrows.....

Can I just mention as well what an amazing coincidence it was that Klaus just happened to be storing his family's bodies in Mystic Falls.Hmm

so do you think it'll end up that Klaus is actually related to Damon and Stefan or even Elena? I pretty sure that the family members will be known, do you think?

And also - what's so important about the Klaus breaking the urse? I perhaps missed that vital point - was it just so that he could be part vampire/part werewolf and live forever?
