Is tonight the first new episode of VP?

I get what's happened but wondered if it had been the first one last week?

I don't remember Klaus kidnapping Katherine?

okay - so I must have turned away for a few seconds and missed the bit where he took out her heart Sad.

I don't know about feeling quite emotional; I was full on crying for the last 15/20 minutes!

Ooh no, you're right - I just rewatched Sad and it looks like he did just stake her. I thought he had done the same to her that he'd done to the werewolf because he had to brew up all the mixed blood/whatever he was brewing in his pot.

I wonder if this means she can be brought back

Love that fact that someone yesterday said that they have at least 5 more seasons storylines to keep us going!! Let's just hope Damon features in them all

Oh yes - although I am worried about this werewolf bite, I am not seriously worried that they are going to write Damon out. He has to feature in all of them.

Elijah - an Original and pretty much indestructible (which is why he saved Klaus in the end - if Klaus still has access to their siblings, who I presume are also Originals, then he can resurrect them) The special stake they used on him would just incapacitate him no matter where they shoved it Smile

Jenna - baby Vamp of the ordinary kind. Wooden stake through the heart kills her stone cold (you probably noticed that Klaus staking Stefan in the back just stopped him being able to get up ) and she was definitely dead - she went all grey and veiny after he did it Sad

Damon will be fine

yeah but Elijah went all grey and veiny when they stabbed him - I'm hoping Jenna will be resurected too.

Wow what an episode! I too was Sad for Jenna but I don't think they'll be able to bring her back. Quick turnaround re the funeral though even if the gravediggers were 'compelled' Hmm. I know they couldn't drag it out too long because of Damon's bite but within 12 hours of death??

Looking forward to next weeks (and have heard some juicy spoilers Grin). I can't believe they'd actually let Damon die as what would be the point of watching afterwards.

I'm not feeling good about this after seeing that trailer Sad

In fact, I'm wondering - what if the season finale ends on a cliffhanger and we don't find out Damon's fate until Season 3? Shock I mean after all, Joss Whedon killed off Buffy at the end of Season 5 - what if the same happens to Damon and we're left until Season 3 to find out whether some magical doohickey can bring him back... Note I refuse to believe that he won't be brought back somehow!

Meanwhile,

Can't wait for Season 2 to be released on DVD so that I can watch it again

PS - SciFiFan - I was impressed with the funeral too! Grin And the fact that no-one else in Mystic Falls knew about it/noticed it, despite it taking place in broad daylight!

And was it just me who thought there was a bit of a time anomaly? - Tyler turns back into a human (which I thought happened as dawn came) but when we returned to the sacrifice it was still dark night with the full moon high in the sky. Did Klaus take them to another time zone?!

The CowardlyLion I noticed the time thing too! When we saw Tyler, I thought 'Hooray, its too late for Klaus' but apparently not Hmm

Also about the funerals - you can't just bury someone surely. Don't you need a coroner and dr and a death certificate. That was odd. Its not as if anyone would be too shocked. They've seen vampire attacks and the like before, haven't they?

I'm overthinking it. I'll just enjoy it for the entertainment that it is Smile

They always seem to be all over the place with their night and day continuity. Maybe daylight hours are really odd and interchangeable in Mystic Falls Grin.

As for theories - maybe Damon has to drink doppleganger blood which, after all is supposed to have mystical qualities???

Hope it's not too lame like Bonnie just happening to find an oh so useful spell in her Grimware (How do you spell that????)

Tell me if I'm wrong but didn't they say the other week, that the vampire dying after werewolf bite was just a myth and that it wasn't true at all?

In that case, he surely won't die?

Didn't that English dark short haired vampire die after being bitten by that female werewolf who died in yesterdays episode?
Sorry, have forgotten names so it probably sounds really vague. Hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about and clarify!
