I saw this for the first time last night. I like it a lot but don't understand what happens next. Are people voted out like the X factor?

No way should Kirsty have gone through tonight.
I was happy that Lee B left.
I would like Katie to win of the girls and Matt of the boys, but Matt to win outright overall.

luke to win - loved leigh b but understand he is too out there for the public vote

bit meh about all the girls tbh - think they were all much of a muchness
kirsty is through with public mainly because of her hearing imo - no way is she a great dancer.anyone remember at the beginning she was hardly rated at all.
katie just seems to dance in the same style each week.
bethany rose wd be perfect for any pop video - looks fab but that is not what being a great dancer is all about.

just to clarify nigels comments tonite - do the judges have the final decision who to put through?he sounded a bit resigned to let bethany go but sounded like he had no choice as katie was more popular with the public.

I missed the results show (DH watching soccer). Have just read the results.

I find Katie a bit 'hard'. I really liked Bethany Rose tonight. OMG her lines in her solo were gorgeous. So am disappointed Bethany is gone. I do like Kirsty - she has a great personality and is so likeable. I was very happy for her to be in semi-final, she did have some great routines (especially that Tango) and only Charlotte can challenge her on performance. But tonight she was the weakest dancer.

Lee B was not a surprise. Really like him too, but Luke and Matt are killing it.

Luke or Matt for the win. Please! (I guess I should vote next week... I haven't yet.)

Aw, I just read that BBC is going to cancel SYTYCD after this season. The ratings were too low. Pity - because I really enjoy this show.

Aw that is pants! They need to keep a public element in the dance shows on the Beeb. Perhaps a public version of SCD? [volunteers self]

BBC do this kind of show so much better than other channels. Disappointed to hear there are low ratings and there may not be another series. It's a real treat to see such great and varied dancing on tv. My favourite was LeeB but I agree that it was his time to go.

I think the American version used to be showed on one of the Sky channels. Does anyone know it there are plans to show the American version?

Agree with nearly everything said.
The boys routine was so superior to the girls, it only highlighted how awful the 3 girls are as a group.
No surprise Lee B went. Good, but too quirky. Thus, his time had come. And Matt is technically fab and never ever lets you down, on anything. Luke is briliant and has grown the most, I think. Can not choose betwen the two. Want Matt to win, I think. But think Luke will. And am happy with that.
Kirsty is not the best dancer. Her personality is big, but that is not enough. Not sure about Katie anymore. She is the best girl left. Still bemuses me that public could not see how technically Bethany was the best out of the three.
Don't think Katie can compete with Matt and Luke to win really. Or what I am trying to say, is that she 'should not' be in contention.
Saddened that it is the final and then there will be nothing more. And no series 3 ? mind you I can't say that comes as a surprise either really, rating wise. Shame.

The boys are so good. Like Kirsty but don't think she us the same league. Not sure about Katie.

Dd has voted for Katie as she works at dh's college. Its a Laines v Bird final, last year was all Laines.

Lets face it they are all great and all are working professionals already.

They are all fabulous dancers. I agree that Kirsty is the weakest but they would all be cast in different shows. Matt's solo was stunning tonight and I love Luke as a dancer. For me it is between the two men this year. Different skills and different personalities but I was impressed by Matt catching Katie in that amazing leap last week - so solid and so understated. Brilliant!!!!!

i know nothing about dance, but to me Luke really stands out. dont' know if i can express why, maybe it's because he's so physically unusually for a dancer being so tall..
