I saw this for the first time last night. I like it a lot but don't understand what happens next. Are people voted out like the X factor?

Which girl has the most amazing figure ? Nigel commented on it on the first programme. was it danielle ? i can't remember who it was. but she has long slim legs. the most beautiful shapely legs. and bust. and everything was, for me, the epitome of what a woman dancer should look like.

Bethany Rose has lovely figure, her legs looked fabulous in the contemporary routine. Danielle has super figure too, and has had plenty of figure hugging costumes to show it off.

I don't remember Nigel commenting - but is the kind of comment he makes!

Too bad Ritchy is gone, she is sooo good. But I didn't feel the connection with this weeks routine either. Too bad she had been in bottom 2 other weeks, which she didn't deserve to be.
I didn't like Katie Love's attitude this week. I would have preferred seeing her gone! All the others stick up for their partners. She better put up and shut up for the rest of the series.

I loved the Tango. Gosh who've have guess Lee could be so macho??

Wonder if when they change partners, now that they are down to the final 10, and we start to vote for them individually, if more of them won't come unstuck.
I mean, is Matt carrying Charlotte a bit ?
I suspect that Tom, Luke may come unstuck. Maybe Charlotte too.

Hi all, lost you for a while!

I'm not 100% sure, but I take "commercial" to be the sort of dancing you would expect to see in a music video - ie it's not really a style per se.

Girl-wise it is between Katie, Katrina and Charlotte for me.
Boy-wise I can't really make my mind up at the moment but I think Luke and Matt.

Anyone watching now? Not sure how I feel about John Barrowman judging

I really like Katrina. From clips on the results show, it looked like Katrina had the worst night. Still, I expected her past performances to stand to her and for Bethany Rose to be gone. Ah well.

And poor Tom, he didn't stand a chance, judges were only waiting to let him go. I never saw what the judges had against Tom, I thought he was great. But I like Israel too.
The clip of Matt and Charlotte's contemporary looked fab - can't wait to watch that. (Might try sneak in a look at that on YouTube before bed..)

i am sad whoever goes now but it is surprising that the dancers who weren't that great at the start are improving so much.

I thought Barrowman was out of line in asking Katrina if she had a crush on Tom. So what if she did, embarrassing the girl on live tv isn't going to help her focus on her dancing is it?

I think the key thing is that all of the top 20 dancers are going to have an easier time getting jobs now. I'm sure there are casting directors out there watching, and don't forget that Arlene frequently casts for major shows. I seem to recall in the first of the public dance shows they did (can't remember the name of the show but it only lasted 1 series) Arlene offered the job as Sandy in Grease to one of the girls during the live final.

Standard is way higher than last year!

All the remaining dancers are so good (as were Ritchie & Katrina). I guess the mix of partners and dance genres & quality of choreography will determine who goes and who stays?? After elimination of Katrina, it would be a lucky guess to identify the winner at this stage. Matt and Charlotte are looking good, but how will they be with other partners and/or poor choreography?
I also don't have a firm favorite this year. I like all the remaining dancers, and I think I'll feel sorry to see any of them leave in the coming weeks.

Thought it was a real shame Katrina went, as she has been so consistent and versatile. Rithy was an excellent dancer too. Love the Lee.B/Kirsty partnership.

Thought Katie and Luke were good. And I liked the fatc thta they told her to pull her socks up and thta she was now chasing Luke. Not that I was thta keen on LUke before, but i think he excelled this week. And I didn't like her attitude before of putting the other Lee down. She seemed a bit conceited.

Matt and Charlotte were something else. I mean seriously. so emotive. powerful. That dance put them in a totally different league. whereas their disco was almost poor. And I take it all back about doubting charlotte. goes to show what I know !!

But for goodness sake, now that we are down to 10, why are we still voting for them as couples. surely we could vote them off as singles now. a number for each person individually.

I think that we start voting for individuals from this week. I'm sure they mentioned about swapping the couples around soon too.

SPOILER ALERT ***

Just read: Kirsty & Matt will be teaming for a "steamy rumba".
Yeahhhhh - just love Kirsty, and Matt too. I am hoping they will make awesome team, and both be safe.

Also just watched the first audition for US S08 SYTYCD. OMG - it will be fabulous. Recommend all dance fans to download the torrent and watch it. Doesn't seem to be on YouTube yet, probably in coming days.

What was that dance the girls just did??? Pure striper moves! Surely they could have given them something more suited to a pre 7pm showing?

Agreed, the boys were phenomenal!
A shame Charlotte has gone, but it looks as though Matt might have been carrying her. I think Matt will win.

Matt and Luke are killing it. Love Lee B, but think he will be gone next week.
The girls are harder to predict. I love Kirsty, she is such a character and her story is so inspirational. Katie Love is a super dancer, but I'm still getting over her dig at Lee C. She was super in the broadway tonight. When Bethany did the hip-hop, I was thinking they let the wrong girl go last week, and her hip hop proved it. But the judges have saved Bethany twice already. So probably Bethany out next week?

Hoping for a great semi-final & final.

How hot were Matt & Kirsty? def my favourite routine of the night.
Was a bit surprised to see Charlotte go as the judges had been singing her praises every week.

Completely agree about the girls choreography. Maybe it was aimed at Nigel's tastes [angy] But then Bethany's choreography is no better - every time she does a solo she's writhing around on the floor so the camera is looking down her chest.

Thought the right people went this week in that they just looked less experienced - not less talented. Really missed Lee B and Kirsty dancing togther this week. That was always the highlight for me every week up until now :)
