Doctor Who series 6 (split between Spring and Autumn)

What do you think of this? And when does it start? Could you stand the wait over the summer, or is it a godsend?

I normally only lurk here in order to have the episodes explained to me! I really like the idea of Amy and the parallel worlds theory.

Did any one else think it was weird that both this weeks and last weeks eps featured marks on the hand - the flashing red light last week and the black spot this week? Or am I just reading too much into things?!

BTW, I love DW but never know what is going on or notice links from one to another until the end of the series and it has all been explained to me. And I liked Amy in this one too, she seemed a bit ... different somehow, don't know why

I thought it would be Rose too- I think envelope No. 1 went to her, and she left it in the diner on the table before going out to the desert.

(though no idea why she would be in a spacesuit!)

Unless, river song DID kill him but not with her own hands....something she did or a decision she made, was directly responsible for him dying

I thought envelope number 1 went to the 'present' Doctor, though, from his future (now dead) self? He's been wandering around the Tardis pondering it with River. Or is there another envelope as well?

I HATE Rose. I don't want her back.

Will the Doctor still love Rose, btw? If she comes back, and he's regenerated? Do his emotions change along with everything else or not? I've only ever seen one regeneration, I never watched before David Tenant, so I don't know the rules of these things.

I thought the red buzzer on the hand was a blatant merchandise opportunity - you wait, by Christmas you will be able to get a buzzer that fits on your palm and you press and you can record your voice onto it and then it flashes...

We saw the 'present' doctor with the envelope in he diner... but that doesn't mean it was posted to him- it could have been on the table when he arrived there...

(obviously thinking about this too much)

It is true that of all the people he trusts, the person he trusts the most is probably himself.

Don't think it will be Rose - IIRC Moffat made comments about how it was genius for the doctor to get rid of his stalker by dumping her in a parallel locked universe and fobbing her off with his clone Grin

i'm not a Rose-hater btw - just thought that was quite funny...

pinot if you REALLY REALLY want the linky I will pm you. it gives away some of the characters possibly in eppy 13 and if they are not messing with us one of the lines from the episode, too. but how we get to that position and what's happening are not clear. but even that makes your head explode a bit Confused

On IMDB some cast members are listed for all the episodes until the summer break. A little bit spoiler-y, but with no clues as to what they are doing in those episodes, so you can amuse yourself by trying to figure it out yourself.
