I dunno, my friend's DH passed out during her CS and she says that was the most stressful experience of her life.

They can laugh about it now, bless them!

londonone · 14/03/2011 21:42

Dave is better than corridor man

HappyCapybara · 14/03/2011 21:42

sorry - the grin was at caves comment!

BellaMagnificat · 14/03/2011 21:42

What's going on I thought she was having a CS

FriggFRIGG · 14/03/2011 21:42

where is her DH?!!

darleneconnor · 14/03/2011 21:42

I'd rather die than be in a roomful of people with my logs up in the air like that.

sheeplikessleep · 14/03/2011 21:43

why's this gone to forceps? bad position of baby?

Dropdeadfred · 14/03/2011 21:43

Noone knows what Dave's life has been like and how he ended up on heroine...but he has said he is trying to chnage his entire life for Oaley and the baby. I read threads on mumsnet on a daily basis about peoplehaving partners/husbands who do nothing to help them, don't understand them, ignore them, spend all their spare time down he pub or playing xbox, men who don't want to share thwir money or their time with their partner or children
being a recovering addict is definitely NOT the worst thing a father could be

watfordmummy · 14/03/2011 21:43

I only have a problem as she was grown up enough to get pregnant, and will be grown up enough to raise the child, so why is she getting special treatment, that other in labour mothers don't get. More a everyone should be looked after like that, rather than "oh look, you got pregnant while still a child, lets treat you with kid gloves!"

Sparklyboots · 14/03/2011 21:43

Are you staying on MN or has this thread put you off?

Ciske · 14/03/2011 21:44

Poor dad, pacing the corridor with his tesco bag wishing he had had the courage to go into theatre!

sheeplikessleep · 14/03/2011 21:45

darlene - you'd rather die? my legs were up like that, as i had epidural and ventouse. think there would have been worse situations than that.

Liv77 · 14/03/2011 21:45

She may get skin to skin my DS was delivered the same way and I was given skin to skin as soon as they'd delivered the placenta and got my legs down Smile

BalloonSlayer · 14/03/2011 21:46

The dad said he "always wants to be there" for his family.

So that's going well then Hmm

FriggFRIGG · 14/03/2011 21:46
