I am a bit disapointed it is on so late.
It was a bit sweary but really really funny.

The subject matter was handled really well and was touching in parts.

I am looking forward to next weeks now.

pvr failed but saw Laura Linney on Breakfast this morning and it sounds really good. think it's on Channel 4 from now on and they have commissioned second series which is a good sign!

penelopestitsdropped · 04/02/2011 19:59

I ws impressed

Loved it - just watched on 4OD

humanheart · 05/02/2011 22:21

thought it was fantastic! cna't wait for next week. very aggressive/angry but not surprising. loved the way she dealt with her horrible son! so shocking - not rl of course - wouldn't it be great to be able to deal with our disrespectful teenagers like this? and him screaming like a girl! LOL. just love this show Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/02/2011 11:32

on sky + havnt seen it yet

BiscuitNibbler · 06/02/2011 11:38

I loved it. Especially the "I'm having desserts and liquor" line. It took me ages to remember what I'd seen her in before, and then twigged it was Love Actually.

humanheart · 06/02/2011 15:02

wish you hadn't told me that bisuit bcs l-o-a-t-h-e that film (vom)

FluffyMummy123 · 06/02/2011 19:15

SimplyTes · 06/02/2011 19:55

Brilliant my mum and I haven't laughed so much in ages. Excellent love her - best thing in "Love Actually" by a million miles!

humanheart · 06/02/2011 22:21

" best thing in "Love Actually" by a million miles!"

that wouldn't take much imo...

I've watched the entire first series and thought it got better and better with each episode. It's so funny as well. I really enjoyed this programme Grin

humanheart · 07/02/2011 16:28

that's good news dontbugme. It is such a good, tight script I was wondering if it could be sustained, or go off in a different direction to the first episode. great to hear it stays top notch.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/02/2011 22:37

Finally watched

Enjoyed :)

Tho assume won't be many series's of it unless goes I to remission which I assume is unheard of at stge 4

So will the final episode be her funeral?

verytellytubby · 08/02/2011 19:40

Loved it. Love her. Little bit in love with her Wink

thaliablogs · 09/02/2011 08:33

I read an article at the ewekend about this. Apparently they don't plan for her to get remission, they plan for a series per grief stage, a season for each season - autumn, winter etc. they reckon they can do about 4 seasons before she croaks (!)

haven't seen it yet, but it's sky plussed, looking forward to it.

kittya · 09/02/2011 18:18

really enjoyed it Smile

Curiousmama · 09/02/2011 20:59

Loved it too, especially the bit in the bath Grin Can't wait to see this weeks.

humanheart · 10/02/2011 01:16

Little bit in love with her

think you're meant to be - watched the first episode again last night (only bcs I got the days mixed up and geared my entire evening around watching what I thought was the 2nd episode...) and realised I hadn't even looked at her doctor properly. so much more analytical 2nd time around: the camera fixates on her and is in love with her too. it's a bit fixated with her boobs too (which look to be stunning!) - expect some boob action I reckon.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/02/2011 12:24

almost stalker like turning up at her house
