Thank you

Raahh · 31/01/2011 21:11

Hmm, MI5 and foreign embassies....

BRING ON THE SKULLS

(although if Adam or what ever his name from spooks turned up (the one who just died) I wouldn't be complaining)

deepdarkwood · 31/01/2011 21:17

Have they got new writers or summat - the characters have seemed a bit all over the place (what was all that shit with Nicky's depression?), and the lack of Science is pissing me right off.

Guacamole · 31/01/2011 21:17

Nuts isn't it? Why the hell would the pathologists show up with the ambulance and enter the building with a gun man on the lose, this is not CSI!? I used to like boring old Silent Witness!

Guacamole · 31/01/2011 21:19

Loose not lose!

Raahh · 31/01/2011 21:20

I liked boring Silent Witness. Bit of a mystery, few old bones, lots of furrowed brows.

The first 2 of this series fit that, but the last couple have been very different.

And sorry, but i laughed when the wpc told the pc he would be o.k (when he had been bleeding to death whilst everyone debated whose country he had been shot inHmm)

Raahh · 31/01/2011 21:21

Ooh- they may ACTUALLY be doing an autopsy!!

deepdarkwood · 31/01/2011 21:24

DH was getting very annoyed with that guacamole - esp as there didn't seem to be any medics there Hmm

NoMoreMissusNiceGuy · 31/01/2011 21:25

Nope! They stopped . Sheesh.

Guacamole · 31/01/2011 21:28

This policewoman is getting on my nerves too, talk about overacting!

McDreamy · 31/01/2011 21:47

I'm a bit behind as paused it earlier but he Dutch Embassador - he's never 50!

twirlymum · 31/01/2011 21:48

Bet the shooter is the missing son.

McDreamy · 31/01/2011 21:50

Or Ambassador even Blush

Raahh · 31/01/2011 21:50

Twirlymum- think you may be right

OP posts:
dmo · 01/02/2011 09:33

haha McDreamy i said that too Smile looks at least 60+

Flisspaps · 01/02/2011 09:35

Very disappointing. Stop arsing about being police (why are they going through boxes of evidence about the missing boy?!) and cut some bodies open!

BendyBob · 01/02/2011 09:39

Yes I agree.

I did enjoy last week's as it goes, but I don't want that all the bliimin time. And and I was wondering ...who minds the shop when they're all off on a jolly? Eh??

Dh loves Spooks but I find all that lurking about in alley ways and looking shifty tiresome after a while. I too like a nice peeled back bonce, a sexist copper and hopefully a few flies to identify. Luverly stuffWinkGrin

Wombletini · 01/02/2011 11:34

That's what I said to DH last night, Silent Witness is turning into Spooks.
Adam will probably turn up as the missing son/shooter as everybody in the Dutch embassy are terrorists.....Wink

KurriKurri · 01/02/2011 11:44

McDreamy - I thought exactly the same about the Dutch ambassador - Maybe a few too many Ferrero Rochers have prematurely aged him Grin

I'm a bit puzzled about the amount of detecting they do. Do pathologists normally do that?, - I thought they just did the cutting up of bodies and finding the cause of death.

And if Leo is worried about costs and being closed down, he should spend less time sitting behind his desk looking slightly pissed off, and more time pathologising.

Guacamole · 01/02/2011 12:59

"And if Leo is worried about costs and being closed down, he should spend less time sitting behind his desk looking slightly pissed off, and more time pathologising.

Love it!

I'm pretty sure all they do is cut up bodies to work out cause of death, everything else is left for the forensic scientists and police.

mousymouse · 01/02/2011 13:09

the ambassador: 50 with a ten year old grandson...early starter for a highly academic career...Hmm

strandednomore · 01/02/2011 13:18

And why are they confusing the embassy with the residence? why was the ambassador having his birthday party in the embassy and not his house?

It's all very silly. And if I were the police I would have been more than a little pissed off at the random pathologists rampaging all over the place, sticking their noses in....

mousymouse · 01/02/2011 14:14

yes, and where at the embassy was the queue waiting for visas?
