TheCrackFox · 18/01/2011 21:43

The dress is horrible.

missy10 · 18/01/2011 21:43

agrees whole heartedly with lauri

AngelHMum · 18/01/2011 21:43

Yup - that's definitely "highlighter" pink for those bridesmaid's dresses.
The bridal gown though !!! Shock
I hope she didn't forget her lingerie Wink

FellatioNelson · 18/01/2011 21:43

Grin at Norman. I haven't watched it yet - sky plussing it. But reading this thread all I can say is some of you are sounding a bit gullible!

brambleschooks · 18/01/2011 21:44

Loving this!

gallicgirl · 18/01/2011 21:44

It struck me that some of their values are very similar to fundamental Christians, although they look the antithesis. Thinking of the gender separation and chaperoning of teens and then the traditional gender roles of women cleaning and men working.

CaveMum · 18/01/2011 21:45

"That's not a SPLIT

she is nekkid at the front"

PMSL!!

Shock did he just use the P-word??!!!

Normantebbit · 18/01/2011 21:45

Yes it is a cash culture! Grin

FakePlasticTrees · 18/01/2011 21:45

anyone remember Pauline Calf's wedding dress? For some reason, it came to mind...

juneybean · 18/01/2011 21:46

Sure did cavemum not terribly angelic are they

Thingumy · 18/01/2011 21:46

Not gullible, but I don't tar them all with the same brush.

Huffymuffy · 18/01/2011 21:46

Does Josie live in a house? Does that mean she's a settler not a traveller?

sethstarkaddersmackerel · 18/01/2011 21:47

there's a traveller family at dd's school - lovely family, v respected in the local area; they don't travel any more but have a big (and very successful) dealership in scrap and agricultural machinery.
this kind of work is quite common among travellers I believe.
can't quite imagine the mum in a dress like that though as her taste in kids' clothes is exquisite, but they did have a funeral recently for which the police had to reroute the traffic and people came from miles around to watch the procession.

missy10 · 18/01/2011 21:47

i didnt hear why the limo didnt turn up can any one tell me

LaurieFairyonthetreeEatsCake · 18/01/2011 21:47

Is it so he can see she's not a ladyboy when she walks in the church? Grin

since he won't have had the pleasure of the fanjo before hand....

KenDoddsDadsDog · 18/01/2011 21:47

Three fights, two weddings and a funeral. Lord Patrick of Swayze.

FoundWanting · 18/01/2011 21:48

I don't think they work on fair-grounds. DS1 has a friend whose family work the fairs and they are very insistant that they are Showmen not travellers.

By the way, one dodgem car costs £20,000 to buy new.

Milngavie · 18/01/2011 21:49

The dress is quite incredible! I know she mentioned a slit but wowzers! The front is completely missing Grin.

FellatioNelson · 18/01/2011 21:50

Yes I think Show People are not actually gypsies or travellers.

FanjolinaJolie · 18/01/2011 21:51

Looks just like a ballet tutu from the front.

babybear5 · 18/01/2011 21:51

FanjolinaJolie · 18/01/2011 21:52

EricNorthmansMistress · 18/01/2011 21:52
