I don't read the papers and I can only go on her appearance on the show.

I think the fact she is in the bottom every damn week has to tell someone something. She is not likeable.

I respect that she works hard and that she wants it (don't they all?), but she can't make us like her, sorry.

Most artists are annoying and fake. She has some balls to keep on coming back, the kind of attitude you need in the music industry.

No the first thread referred to getting Katie kicked out, hence the 2 and everyone seems to want to kill katie, that's all. Personally, I'm quite enjoying her contribution.

I don't get how she's annoying though. She comes on and sings (sometimes well and sometimes not so well), she thanks the idiot judges nicely for their comments - she gets in the bottom two - and then she comes back and does it all again the next week. How is that annoying?

She is annoying because she a fucking fake, she had has the contract before and fucked it up... she cried (on cue) and has the wohle 'woo look at me im a bit quirky' thing going on and her voice is very gravelly, she has been in the bottom 2 FOUR times now she obviously not very well liked.. sooo annoyed katie didn't go!!! I just don't like her and never did. She can sing but in the same way i can cook. I can do it people say oh she can cook but im hardly going to win a Michelin star and katie is hardly going to become a global superstar. She just doesn't have a likeable personality and DH thinks she is shagging simon cowell otherwise why the hell else would he keep her in?

Paije and Rebecca are my two favourites but they are not for the x factor pop machine. They have brilliant voices but not for the generic pop they will have to do if they win the x factor.

You can push the public towards voting for or against someone very easily you know, if you looked at all the subliminal messages you'd see people are singled out. It's all very managed, you don't even need to fix the votes. Nor do you need to know the results. You merely need to know what will be the decision which will result in more viewings next week and more votes this week?

If Katie was out tonight I would have lost interest. So well done XFactor.

They 'push' it every year, you can tell by the song the winner gets to sing its always geared to one finalists particular stylr, also one gets to song with a major celeb and the other two get to sing with someone from Loiues phone book..

I think for me it started off at the judges house, with all the 'It's such an emotional song, and I'm so emotional' crap, to add to the 'I want to be famous in medicine' idiocy but now it just seems as if she's getting an unfair advantage. She has forgotten her words several times- something people have been chucked off for before, and she has now been in the bottom 2 four times- another thing that people have been chucked off for. It's obvious that people will then question why she is still in!
