Marking my place with a vote for Katie vs. Paige or Aiden - neither were particularly impressive last night (although neither were as awful as Wagner, but I'm not sure people are entirely bored with the joke yet).

back to XF - please let Katie go!! there are a few i would happily get rid of but she's top of my shit list.

No doesn't fit into the iron holder thingie tis true and big ugly thing but it does steam through the ironing. You literally press a button and the creases vanish AND you can iron vertically for awkward things.

Incidentally can I just say that it is a shocking indictment of the quality of television these days that you would all rather discuss my domestic appliances than the show?

I know I've been saying it for weeks, but I REALLY DO believe that Fakey will go tonight. I bet she's desperately practising her Save Me song today.

Yes, but not directly. I think the PR effort and statements by judges can be directed to encourage heroes and demons and people do vote accordingly.

I have never voted, I think it's bunk myself.

I'm not keen on Matt - he just doesn't appeal to me personally but he fits into a genre of music that I don't listen to.

I think the best are Rebecca and Cher. Cher reminds me of Madonna in her early days - I think she'll be around for a long time after the X factor. Rebecca has an amazing voice. The boy band will do well too but they all look 10!

I much prefer the campathon that is the BBC musical theatre programmes - the Nancies and Josephs etc - and do have a little rant to myself that those people manage to learn complicated dance routines, sing difficult songs much better than the XF crowd and are expected to madly over-act at the same time. Not even managing to gurn through Rocket Man in something approaching the melody, despite the help of the modifier thingy, is tragic.

And ol'Spiky Poo wasn't even the worse.

I want Weasel to stay because I think she will throw the mother of all hissy fits on a live show soon enough and it seems a waste not to let her. But she will be in the sing off I imagine.

I also liked the BBC1 shows - I watched 'Over the Rainbow'.
