Starts on Saturday!!
I can't find any contestant rumours other than Goldie, does anyone know of any?
Is Alesha back? can only find articles about her not signed contract yet.
No results show apparantly and new format for voting, can't wait - Winter is here.

I suspect that they put Anton with Ann because Felicity is quite short, but also reasonably promising, so she gets first dibs on Vincent, and although I think little Jared is quite short there's no way he could plausibly work with Ann (although they have their virginity in common, they speak entirely different languages).

Oooh, I wasn't too hopeful when I watched the 'line-up' show for Strictly this year, but after watching the episodes this weekend, I'm loving it again! Hooray! Smile

I enjoyed watching Matt, Felicity, Kara, Jimi and Gavin. I'm still annoyed at Matt being pared with Aliona. She was such a bint last year but looks like the cat who got the cream this year. The jury is out on her at the moment.. And as I was watching on the iPlayer I was able to fast forward through Paul, Ann and Peter - result! And I think I expected more from Michelle, she was all flailing limbs..

I quite liked Alisha last year, but was not a fan of her comments or scoring this weekend. I love Craig! He's the best part of the panel for me. And please, Brucie, RETIRE!

Looking forward to next weekend..

I'd like there to be more ballroom/latin experience on the panel. as good as Bruno and Craig are, they come from a theatre background.
The obvious thing to do would be to replace Alesha (who I like as an singer/person, just not as a judge) with Karen Hardy.

Agree that Bruce has probably had his day, Anton again would be the obvious replacement.

I wish they hadn't gone down the Dancing With The Stars route of using props though. I WILL be switching off if they start making Michell Williams dance to Destiny's Child tracks though!

I also enjoyed watching Matt, Felicity, Kara, Jimi and Gavin and surprisingly Pamela.

Gav came across quite well I thought. Everywhere else in life he seems like a dickhead, but he was, dare I say it, sweet and humble and looked quite promising! And wasn't he a babe in ballroom togs .

I agree with what most of you have said about this weekend. The props/"costumes" were really cheesy! I am hoping it was just a one-off to remind us who some of the lesser-known slebs are.

It's definitely the first year where I haven't been jealous of the frocks, they were all gaudy and plastic-looking. And Kara's make up Shock

I was a bit disappointed Felicity wasn't more impressive, I am hoping she is better at ballroom! I love her! And I thought Michelle is a great partner for Brendan although I think they are going to wind each other up - she didn't look very happy at some of the judges' comments did she? Matt to win (just because he's a geordie :) )

V excited for Claudia tonight!!x

I can't stand Karen Hardy, but agree that the judges should be more expert.

How about Camilla Dallerup to replace Bruno?

Yeah I agree although I do have to disagree with cavey and say Karen Hardy annoys the cr*p out of me!! As does Alisha... so lose lose for me Grin

Karen is great! Either her or Camilla should have replaced Alisha this series. Agree about the props, they were really annoying. Hope they drop them next week. Loved Matt - my early fav.

I have to say that I thought Gavin was far better than I expected, and I though the 3 feathers on the jacket was avery nice touchGrin

(and can I just say he's nice in real life, and quite how he's potrayed)

Suprised at Patsy though - for some reason I thought she'd be really goodHmm

Did anyone see the show on Sky earlier this year where Karen Hardy taught Justin Lee Collins the Paso Doble? They sent him to the US to compete and he did pretty well!

Wow I didn't see the JLC programme, will try to search it out. Loved Claud tonight, It Takes Two is great, I love the behind the scenes stuff. I'm not a Camilla fan unfortunately but would like to see a pro dancer on the panel instead of Alesha.

Controversially I quite liked Kara's look on Saturday. I thought it really set the mood she was going for in the routine. Looking back this evening I really, really loved Pamela's waltz. Romantic and something fairytale about it!

I quite liked Kara's outfit too. I thought it went with her dance. I hated the pink dress that the other actress wore, I can't remember her name.

And I would be quite happy with either Camilla or Karen to take over from one of the panel. I did find Karen annoying when she was dancing, all that gurning, but I don't mind her at all on ITT.

Just saw ITT from yesterday and I think Pamela and James' salsa looks great! Also, OMG, what is up with all the botox - Kristina and Tess can barely move their faces.. Shock I thought Aliona was quite sweet with Matt, maybe she's not so bad after all...

Yes Carbs do you mean Tina O'Brien? I thought she looked ridiculous. I know they were going for the cute factor but she's in her 20s for goodness sake, not a 10 year old at a competition!

This is where I should probably out my girl crush on Kristina, I do luff her. Such beautiful feet and general control over her movement. Plus she's sooooo bendy Grin
