Starts on Saturday!!
I can't find any contestant rumours other than Goldie, does anyone know of any?
Is Alesha back? can only find articles about her not signed contract yet.
No results show apparantly and new format for voting, can't wait - Winter is here.

Nightsky - YANBU! at all, in the slightest, even remotely....!

TigersChick · 14/11/2010 22:30

Snowstorm - yes, Brendan's pro partner is Natalie, as last year.

Happy with the result ... with the obvious exception Grin

BettyTurnip · 14/11/2010 22:38

Brendan looked a bit peeved with his partner - I think they knew it was their time to go.

I always enjoy it when the 'top dogs' get meh comments and bad scores - the true nature emerges ...

Thanks. I'm starting to see Scott as a cross between George Clooney and Jim Carrey. Fab dancer though. Love, love, love Kara, she's wonderful but without a trace of arrogance. Same goes for Matt.

fartmeistergeneral · 15/11/2010 08:08

I didn't think Scott took Gavin's comment seriously either. Although if it was me, I'd be tempted to mutter 'fuck off you twat" through smiling gritted teeth.

I also could feel the tension between Michelle and Brendon, like he came on the show on Sat night with zero expectation - maybe training all week hadn't gone so well? He totally stood back silent with all the negative comments, he knew it was her time to go.

Oh well, must endure Felicity and Ann another week. Only thing is now, if Ann makes it through, who will be in the bottom 2 with Felicity? This is where it starts to get rather dodgy and I will be getting vvvv pissed off with Ann. I wish the producers would ban her from speaking all over the judges' comments. "You should see our rumba!" "You should see our salsa!" Just shut up woman.

vmcd28 · 15/11/2010 11:09

But it's interesting that the pro dancers are defending Ann still being in the competition. Brendan said he's getting annoyed at the negative comments cos she was invited onto the show, and deserves to be there as much as anyone else

Maybe they learned their lesson from last time, when james just came across as an arrogant prick each time he criticised john sergeant.

At least this week Ann was doing some proper dance steps... But yes, it's getting a bit wearing now...

I do love Kara but I can't help but feel sthg is missing but I'm not sure what. Joe Swash has apparently admitted he'd been a fool to let her go. Damn right!! Punching above your weight, Joe?

I'm with you on that muttering fartmeister Smile

idlingabout · 15/11/2010 12:09

I think Scott is great and its worth remembering that he isnt a typical stage school from very young trained actor like Kara. DP met Scott a couple of years ago and found him to be extremely down to earth, very friendly and absolutely not up his own..`. He is doing well because he is working extremely hard at it and is taking the same approach to learning to dance as he did to learning to act; he is very aware that other people have much to teach him.

HRHCavey · 15/11/2010 13:35

Anyone remember Kara when she was in Teachers? She was the pupil who kept telling Andrew Lincoln that her mum wanted to give him one! James Cordon was in the same "class".

Anyway, back to the dancing: I think Patsy will be the next one in danger. Simply because Robin does not have as big a fan base as some of the other Pros. My guess is that it is Vincent's fans that have kept Felicity so far.

fartmeistergeneral · 15/11/2010 15:38

Yes, very different from the whole John Sargeant thing. That time, Len was VERY critical of the public for keeping John in, saying time and time again that it was a dance competition. This time he's very vocal about how the public are happy to keep Ann in and that's fine with him cos it's an ENTERTAINMENT show.

MrsKitty · 15/11/2010 21:49

fartmeister - I'm finding it hard to understand the complete about turn from Len - I can only assume he's had a talking to from the powers that be up in BBC centre?

I thought the judges all looked utterly pissed off when the 2nd couple in the bottom 2 was announced and Ann was still there.

fartmeistergeneral · 16/11/2010 07:26

Yes, it's obvious someone's had words with him.

CeliaFate · 16/11/2010 08:54

I think it's to lessen her impact and hope then that the public won't vote for her if they don't make such an issue of her.

Snowstorm · 16/11/2010 13:11

That's a good point CeliaFate!

Matt Baker is the type of person I would like my dd to bring home as her boyfriend - I find him charming. BTW dd is 6, so I'm talking hyperthetically here!

fartmeistergeneral · 16/11/2010 15:57

No I wouldn't, I'd be swooning every time she brought him home and having bad thoughts!! Blush

saythatagain · 16/11/2010 16:51

Oo farty you're so norty! Quite understandable though.

knottyhair · 16/11/2010 18:25

I'd like to bring him home as my boyfriend! If I wasn't so happy with DP of course Grin.

LivinInThe80s · 16/11/2010 18:30

I can't bear Ann, but I've accepted that she is going to be there for a while so I'm just kind of ignoring her and enjoying the rest of the show! I think the judges are doing the same thing, like Celia said to lessen her impact. Ann aside, I think they are being voted off in the right order - apart from Jimmy of course, that was a total miscarriage of justice!!

mummychicken · 16/11/2010 19:41

I'm hoping that the SCD voters are not as easily lead by pubic pressure as the X factor crowd who are keeping Wagner in. I think Ann will be there for another few weeks but I can't see SCD fans allowing a REALLY crap dancer win
