Anyone who's dipshit enough to buy a £250,000, 18th century house without bothering to do a structural survey before purchase deserves a swift kick in the jacksie, not help from a show.

I watched it - I wasn't sure if the owners actually had a survey on the house or not? They were very brave taking it on as the low price must have reflected the issues it had?! Gorgeous in the end though!

I saw it LOL !!!!!!! Yes we did have a full structural survey done and it said the crack was due to historical movement and just to monitor it (considering the house was built in 1700's)

LMAO at Blondeshavemorefun - the earth did move a few time or was it just the floor !!!! They did rub it in about Terry being a perfectionist and the amount they talked about it during filming I was fed up by the time I actually got to talk to Sarah - he just likes to make sure things are done well LOL!

I am happy with the show except for the loo ! That was not ours - ours never flooded like that so god knows where they got that shot !

That was my toilet!! lol There was nothing wrong with our toilet either!! They blocked it & filled it with soil & brown sauce & flushed it just for effect...they didn't even use it on our show..they used it on yours instead! lol :-)

they staged the toilet [hshock] and then swapped to different house - falsifying evidence!!! [hhmm]
